summer solstice.
Woke up early and went outside.
Watching sun coming up over the trees.
I made flower crown using tree kinds of white flowers and vines.
Took photos and put it by the creek.
It’s for the fairy in the creek.
Then I harvested lavender for the first time.
Only few was started blooming.
It was very deep, complicated fragrance.
Those lavender flavor is merely surface of this fresh herb.
I made it to a small bundle and hang over the kitchen table.
I sorted chamomile again.
One jar is packed.
Dan went for the shopping.
I did weeding, and took care of tomatoes.
It got hot quickly.
Today is the first day of summer.
I did knitting in the afternoon.
Made ramen with lots of vegetables from garden. and ground pork.
Cooking made me hot.
I made Dan a flower crown too.
After we both took shower, we went out to see the sunset.
The sunset was 9:03, but the sky was still bright red till like half past 9.
It wasn’t dark until 10.
It was a beautiful solstice day.
Except, I got three mosquito bits while we were out, and more inside house.
I am trying not to scratch too much.
Oh boy.
夏至の日。
早く起きて、外に出る。
朝日を浴びて、白い花を３種類とツタで花冠をつくった。
小川の妖精さんにあげたかったので、小川のほとりにおいておく。
ラベンダーを初めて収獲する。
お花が少し開きはじめたのを採るのがいいらしい。
すごく奥が深いかおり。
いわゆるラベンダーって、このかおりの、ほんの表面だけなんだな。
採った数本を束ねて、食卓の上につるしておく。
今日もカモミールの仕分け。
瓶がひとついっぱいに。
夫は食糧品の買い出しにいってくれた。
草引きをしたり、トマトの世話をしているとすぐに暑くなる。
今日から、ほんとうに夏だ。
午後は編み物も。
お庭の野菜をたっぷり入れて、豚ミンチと炒めたものもいれて、ラーメンをつくった。
コンロふたつつかうと暑いな～。
欲しいといったので、夫にも花冠をつくってあげる。
夜、交代でシャワーを浴びた後、夕陽を見に外に出た。
９時３分が日の入りだったのだけれど、９時半ごろまで、夕焼け空がきれいだった。
その後１０時ごろまでまだ明るい。
夏至の太陽を見送れてよかった。
夕陽を見ている間に３箇所、その後家の中でまた数カ所蚊に刺される。
今年はかきむしらないと決めたので、流水で洗って、冷やして、すーっとしないタイプの薬を塗る。
これでしばらくすると跡もなく消えるのだけど、たまにぶりかえしちゃう。
夫はまったく刺されないのでうらやましい。
