Wednesday.
We woke up feeling cold!
It cooled down so much.
I walked to work.
Today we had this trouble with the computer.
We tried everything we can think of, but didn’t work.
There is always something.
But other than that, we did pretty good.
This grouchy patient was instantly feel better when Josh told them
that they have same birthday.
They told us that any doctor visits make them nervous and I can relate.
We finished before 3, and cleaned up, but had one added.
A 91 year-old patient.
They wore jeans, and walked by themselves.
I introduced myself and they thought I said “you, go!”
I finished little after 4, and walked home.
Changed and cleaned the kitchen.
I made rice, marinated red cabbage, and cooked carrots and garlic stakes.
I made dumplings and put everything over rice.
We watched the subway series game 2.
It was tied in 7th inning, but we gave up by 9th.
It turned out Mets won in 10th inning.
We talked a lot while stretching.
Dan told me that one of volunteers’ daughter saw him from distance, and thought he looks like James Dean!
I googled him and found that he died at 24.
It means Dan looks like 24!
It was almost cold, and we closed window before go to bed.
水曜日。
寒い！と思って起きる。
急に気温が下がった。
歩いてお仕事へ。
今日はパソコンの調子が悪い。
一日中いろいろ試したけれど、なにをしても直らない。
ほんと、毎日なにかしらあるな。
でもそれ以外はスムーズにいった。
むすっとした感じのいかつい患者さん、と思ったら、
ジョシュが、僕と同じ誕生日ですね、と言ったとたんほぐれた。
病院に行く時はいつも緊張する、とのこと。
それを言えるだけつよいと思う。
終わった後、気持ちがゆるんだのか急におしゃべりになったのも、すごく共感できる。
3時前に終わったので片付けてたら電話。
1件追加が入った。
91歳の患者さん。耳は遠いものの、ジーンズを履いた細い足でスタスタ歩く。
「ユウコでです」と言ったら、「you, go! って言われたのかと思った！」と笑っていた。
4時過ぎにあがって、コープによってから歩いて帰る。
さっと着替えて片付けていたら夫も帰宅。
ごはんを炊いて、紫キャベツのナムル、ニンジンとニンニクの芽のキンピラをつくる。
餃子を焼いて餃子丼にする。
サブウェイ・シリーズ2戦目も接戦。
7回で同点になって、9回まで見たけれど、そこであきらめた。
後で見るとメッツが勝っていた。わーい。
夜、ストレッチしながらたくさんおしゃべりする。
仕事先の若い人に、遠くから見てジェームス・ディーンみたいと言われたらしい。
えー、すごい。
調べてみたらジェームス・ディーンは24歳で亡くなっている。
え、24歳に見えたってこと？と盛り上がった。
肌寒くて、窓を閉めて寝る。
へんてこな天気の春だったけれど、夏もこんな感じなのかな。
