Woke up slowly.
Coffee.
Wrote some letters, and then went outside.
While stretching, I did weeding and then put straw in place.
I love working outside.
Dan made hotdogs for lunch.
Very simple, but good one.
Saige came to visit us again.
We gave her little bit of sausage and water.
Somehow she decided to stay longer today.
When we were sitting on the porch, she tried to be in between us.
I guess she loves the attention we gave her.
They have 3 or 4 more dogs, so I can imagine they want more.
Saige knows how to walk in the garden.
When Dan came to tell me the dinner is ready,
Saige barked at us as if she’s saying, “why can’t i come inside, too?”
I think she decided to adopt herself.
So she stole old shoe which we found under the house.
And laid down by the door, but she went home before we finished dinner.
I had hot bath, did stretching, and went bed early with my hot water bag.
ゆっくり起きてコーヒー。
手紙を書いたりしてから外へ。
ストレッチを定期的にしながら、草引きをして、
敷きワラを敷いていく。
やっぱり外で作業ができるのはたのしい。
お昼は夫がホットドックをつくってくれた。
ソーセージとパプリカ、ピクルスだけのシンプルなものだけど、けっこうお腹がふくれる。
午後も作業をしていると、お隣のセージがまた遊びに来た。
ソーセージをすこしと水をあげる。
今日はなんだか長居することに決めたようで、
わたしたちがポーチに並んで座っていたら間に割り込んだりしてかわいかった。
お隣には他にも３、４匹犬がいるので、あまりかまってもらえないのだろう。
畑にはあまり入らないし、入っても基本は畝の間を歩く。
かしこい。
そのままうちにずっといて、夕食ができたと夫が呼びに来てくれた時に、
じぶんは入れてもらえないと気づいたのか、抗議するように鳴いていた。
床下から出てきた古い靴をくわえていって、窓の外でふてくされているみたいだった。
うちの子になったつもりだったのかな。ごめんね。
食べ終わる頃には家に帰って行った。
夜はゆっくりお湯につかって、ストレッチもして、湯たんぽをいれて早めに眠る。
