Wednesday.

I walked to work.

We got used to the new system, and it went smoother than yesterday.

A patient was asking for Rich.

The tech who hired me and now everyone’s boss.

She said he was good at finding her vein.

My college succeeded with first try, and she was so happy.

She told us to tell Rich that we are great.

Gave me a hug before leaving.

We could go for a walk, and I could read my book.

The main character will do a cross country trip.

From west to east, the opposite from what we did.

And she’ll drive by herself.

Now they are preparing for the trip, and it reminded me a lot about our trip.

In the afternoon, I was on the scanner for the test run.

With ear plugs and headphone, it was still very loud.

I tried to go to sleep, but I couldn’t.

It was very interesting to see inside my stomach.

I finished by 4, and Dan came to pick me up.

We went to Betty’s to pick up our order.

Back home, organized all foods we bought.

And I made pasta with tomato sauce.

Glazing cheese is my job.

I was so sleepy by 8pm.

Barely awake when Mets won, and I don’t remember after that.

Went to bed early.

水曜日。

今日も歩いて仕事へ。

昨日よりもだいぶ慣れてきて、スムーズにできた。

ある患者さんは、リッチはどこ？と言う。

わたしを雇った人で、今はみんなの上司になった人。

血管が細く、静脈注射に手間取るのだけど、リッチは上手だったとのこと。

同僚がやってみるとなんと1回目で成功して、とても喜んでいた。

なぜかわたしのこともすごく褒めてくれて、帰り際にハグしてくれた。

お昼に散歩にも行けたし、読書もできた。

どうも車でアメリカ横断の旅に出るようだ。

わたしたちがしたのとは反対に、西から東へ。

でもひとりで。

思い出が揺り動かされるようで楽しい。

午後はテストでスキャナーの上に乗った。

耳栓とヘッドホンをしてても大きな音で、これで眠れる人はすごいと思う。

ちゃんとしたスキャンじゃないけれど、お腹の中をのぞいておもしろかった。

ご飯を食べたところの胃はパンパンだった。

4時に上がって夫に迎えにきてもらう。

そのまま食料品を受け取りに。

ベルを鳴らしても出てこないので、勝手に入らせてもらった。

鍵はかけない人たち。

帰宅して、食料の整理をして、パスタをつくる。

シンプルなトマトソースだけど、お庭のパセリと、たっぷりのパルメジャンチーズを足す。

チーズを削るのはわたしの仕事。

ちょっとバルサミコビネガーをかけて食べるのが好き。

夜は眠くて眠くて眠かった。

メッツが久しぶりに勝ったのを見届けて、後はずっと寝ていた。
