yuko's diary 5/6/26

Wednesday.

I worked at the usual hospital again.

It was a full schedule day, and then we had to do a long scan add-on.

It pushed us back, but we recovered quickly.

There are many patients with strong pain and it made me more tired.

A Spanish only patient was crossing and praying before we start.

It made me smile but also I’m curious about those religious people.

I couldn’t go for a walk either day.

Instead, I read my book.

It’s getting exciting, and still going.

I don’t know how this story ends.

I was done by 4, and walked home.

It was supposed to be hotter than yesterday, but with thick cloud, it was not nearly as hot.

It was nice.

I ate a quick dinner and did my workout.

Then went out to the garden.

The cloud is finally gone and sunset was so beautiful.

Then read book until bed time.

Tomorrow we need to wake up early.

水曜日。

今日もお仕事。

昨日と同じように予定の詰まった日で、さらに長いスキャンの追加が入る。

予想通り、午後のスキャンに押してしまったけれど、なんとか持ち直した。

ふう。

痛みの強い患者さんが多い日でもあって、消耗した。

スペイン語オンリーで、閉所恐怖症の患者さん、始まる前に十時を切ってお祈りしていた。

なんだか微笑ましくて笑ってしまったけれど、信仰心というのはやっぱり興味深いな。

二日に渡って歩きに出られなかったのはひさしぶり。

代わりに読書が進んだ。

いよいよクライマックスかと思いつつ、でもまだ半分強。

先が読めない。

4時に終わって、歩いて帰る。

昨日より少し気温が高いはずなのに、曇っているので全然暑く感じない。

ほっとする。

さっと晩ごはんを食べて、ワークアウト。

それからお庭へ。

曇っていたのが、夕方にさぁっと晴れるパターン。

夕陽がとってもきれいだった。

水やりしながら見惚れる。

夜は読書。

明日は早起きの日。
