I worked at the usual hospital today.

It’s sunny again.

It was a full schedule day, and no cancelation and one add-on.

No lunch break.

A patient who’s in 80s said that “I have to call my girlfriend. She doesn’t know that she’s my girlfriend”

My colleague told them that he has several of them.

Haha

I read my book in between scans.

It’s still hard to read for me, but now I got used to it.

It’s kinda horror story? There is so much blood.

The edge of book is colored bright red and it’s very effective.

Holding hands feel scared sometimes.

But with the old speech, I don’t feel scared.

It’s an interesting book.

I was done around 4, and walked home in strong sunshine.

Saige was standing by the bridge and we went home together.

I ate a quick dinner, and organized mails.

I did my workout and then went out to water the garden.

The sun was still strong but going down, it was 7:20 or so.

I stayed outside until half past 8.

The read my book until I was too sleepy.

いつもの病院で仕事。

今日もいい天気。

朝からしっかり予定が詰まっていて、キャンセルもなく、追加あり。

お昼休み返上で一日しっかり働いた。

80代の患者さん、「ガールフレンドに連絡しないと。向こうはガールフレンドだって思ってないけど」と。

同僚が「そういう相手なら僕も何人かいます」と返していておかしかった。

合間に読書を進める。

100年前の牧師の日記と、Indigenous の人の一人語りが交互で進んでいく。

両方、読みづらい箇所はまだあるものの、少し慣れてきた。

これはホラーに分類されるのかな。血がたくさん。

本の天地、小口が赤く染められているのがやりすぎなようで、効果的。

本を持つ手の血の気が引く場面が続く。

でも、怖いと言えば怖いけれど、文体のせいか、手に汗握るという感じにはならない。

不思議な読みごたえ。

4時に上がって、夏の日差しの中歩いて帰る。

セージが橋のところにいて、一緒に帰った。

あるものでさっとごはんにして、郵便物の整理。

それからワークアウト。

7時ごろ外に出て水やり。

まだ日差しは強いけれど、どんどん涼しくなっていく時間。

8時半ごろまで外にいた。

その後は眠くなるまで読書。
