Thursday.
I was busy this morning.
After Dan left home, I walked to the bus station.
I was going to see my doctor.
The bus left the town 8:00.
It got full quickly.
It took 35 minutes to the clinic.
The old man sat next to me was talking to me.
He said, I won’t bite. haha.
This clinic is much bigger and better than ours in Tonasket.
So many stuffs.
I talked my doctor about things I wanted to ask.
It went smooth and now I had to wait for the bus for one hour.
The bus came on time, though.
Last time, it was so late, and hard to catch it.
I have this app to trace the bus’s location.
Back home, it was already hot.
I decided the locations of trees to plant.
Then started digging the holes, but it was too hot for that.
So I had to stop after 4 or 5 holes.
There are many things to consider when you plant tree.
It will take decade to mature, but and it might not make it.
But I still have to think carefully.
Made dinner: rice, miso soup, kale.
Then later dumplings.
It got cloudy, and now it’s not too hot.
Dan came home around 3:30, and rested for a while.
Then we had dinner.
It was stormy outside.
We could hear thunder, see the lightning but not close.
The rain stopped after one hour.
The creek is really high, it is getting scary.
Now with cooler weather, I wish the melting snow would slow down.
Dan could stay awake later today.
木曜日。
今日は朝から忙しい。
夫を見送ってから少ししてわたしも出かける。
コミュニティバスに乗って隣町の病院へ。
1年ぶりにかかりつけのお医者さんに会う。
バスは8時に町の病院の裏から出発。
すぐに満席になった。
35分くらいかけて、ハイウェイも通りつつで到着。
隣に座ったおじいさんが「とって食ったりしないよ」から始まって、いろいろと話しかけてくるので少しおしゃべりした。
ここの病院はうちの町の病院の数倍の規模で、スタッフも多い。
医師に気になっていたことやもろもろの検査の話をする。
スムーズに終わって、外に出ようかと思ったけれど、次のバスまで1時間以上ある。
待合室でのんびりしていたらあっという間だった。
前回バスを利用した時はすごく遅延してスケジュールがあるようなないようなだったけれど、
今日は時間ぴったり。
アプリでバスの現在地がわかるようになっている。
少し買い物してから帰宅。
もうお昼でしっかり暑い。
昨日届いた木を植える場所を決めて、少しずつ掘る。
でもやっぱり暑いので半分ほどで終了。
木が大きくなったときのことをいろいろ考えて、決める。
何十年もかかるし、途中でだめになる可能性も高いのだけれど、もし育ったら大丈夫なように考える。
まだ部屋の中が涼しいうちに晩ご飯をつくる。
お味噌汁、ごはん、ケール炒め。
後は餃子を焼くだけ。
気づいたら雲が出てきて、あんまり暑くない。
夫は3時半ごろ帰宅。
のんびりしてから早めの夕食。
嵐が来そうな風と湿度。
小川はますます水位が増している。
ゴロゴロいいつつ降らないなと思っていたら小一時間ほどざっと降り、その後はふしぎな色の空だった。
黄みがかったグレー、みたいな。
ときどき稲光。
雷はあまり得意じゃない。
一気に気温は下がったので、雪解けがこれでスローダウンしてくれたらいいけれど。
こんなに一気に流れてきちゃって、夏が心配だ。
夫、今日は少し遅くまで起きていた。
週末だ～。
