Wednesday.
It was raining hard.
Dan dropped off before going to work.
My college liked her birthday gift.
Two books were perfect for the rainy day.
As she is Mexican, I got Spanish-Italian vocabulary lists.
She founds lots of similar words, and enjoyed it.
Sometime, I found the similar words in Chinese or Korean.
But it would be more than that.
I love languages.
We only had two patients and we went for walk twice, but still lots of spare time.
I read a lot.
I don’t remember how many they moved, but the author just write it down with the same calmness.
If I was him, I wouldn’t remember every details.
I worked till 4 or some, and walked to home.
When I was walking around the garden with Saige, Dan came home.
He was looking for his car key, and so I helped him.
We couldn’t find anywhere, and he remembered that he took out carabiner from the trunk.
So we walked towards the car, and found the key sticked out of the key hole.
Wow, he drove like that to the work and back.
I couldn’t believe that we still have a car.
I made ramen with soy sausage and kale.
We put the oil heater on.
It’s the end of May!
We went to bed early, but I couldn’t sleep very well again.
Maybe tomorrow’s full moon.
It came up so big, almost like a joke.
水曜日。
しっかりした雨。
遅い出勤の夫が送ってくれる。
朝一番に誕生日プレゼントを渡せた。
雨のゆっくりした日で、たまたまだけど本のプレゼントは、最適だった。
すぐにイタリア語の単語集を開いていた。
同僚はメキシカンなので、英語＝イタリア語ではなく、スペイン語＝イタリア語の単語集にしたら、もともと似ているのですごく楽しそうだった。
時々、韓国語や中国語で似た単語が見つかるとなんだか嬉しいのと同じだけど、それが頻出なのだからまたおもしろいな。アラビア語とヘブライ語くらい近いのかもしれない。
そういえば、韓国、中国の友達と英語で会話していた時、事故に遭った時の話で、「走馬灯」という言葉が共通しているのを発見したことがある。
言語はやっぱり楽しい。
雨の中2回散歩に出て、ERの追加も1件あったけれど、それでもだいぶのんびりした日。
肌寒いのに動かないとさらに寒かった。
読書を進める。
もう何回かわからないくらい、親の都合であちこち引っ越している作者。
母親の生い立ちも語られて、ああ、やはり、という感想。
姉の、「一部の人間はどこまで行っても学ばない」という言葉に含まれるいろんな方向の感情。
それにしても、こんなに細かく覚えているものなんだな。
ものを書く人ならではなのかもしれない。
4時過ぎに上がって、コープに寄って帰る。
帰宅して、セージとお庭を回っていたら夫も帰宅。
今朝は車の鍵が見つからずに、わたしの鍵を使っていた夫、帰宅してすぐに探していた。
わたしも手伝う。
あ、トランクを開けてカラビナを出した時かな、というので一緒に見に行ったら、なんと鍵穴に刺さったままだった！
え、このまま仕事に行って帰ってきたの？
おもしろいやらあきれるやら。まぁ、車が無事でよかった。
夜ご飯は大豆ソーセージとケールを乗せたラーメン。
家の中がまだ冷えるので、ついにまたオイルヒーターをつけた。
寒い5月。
夜早めにお布団に入って、でも何回か起きた。
明日の満月かな。
山の向こうから登ってくる時、ものすごく大きくて冗談みたいだった。
