It was raining hard around 5 am.
Coffee.
We got new organic beans.
When I had a first sip,
I could tell the difference.
Very good.
Half bagel.
It was cloudy so easy to work outside.
I cleaned a row where I am planning to plant adzuki.
Dan went for a run.
It rained again in the afternoon.
We tried to go to Iron Grill,
but it was too crowded.
So instead, we went to co-op to get sandwiches and soup.
After that, we took nap.
We watched one of double header game.
Woke up, we walked to the mailbox.
Then we saw the fight between hawk and crows.
There were 5 hawks flying in a squad.
That was scary.
It seemed like they came randomly or just checking the situation,
not to directly help that one hawk.
But while they were there,
crows didn’t attack.
Dan made ramen with kale and spinach from garden.
Weird but fun Saturday.
朝方、どしゃ降りだったよう。
コーヒー。今日から新しいオーガニックの豆。
ひと口飲んだ瞬間、カフェインが沁みるよう。
おいしい。
ベーグルを半分こ。
ちょうどよく曇っているから、作業がしやすい。
小石を取りのぞいたりして、整える。
今日はアズキを植える予定のところを。
夫は走りにいった。
お昼にはまた雨。
夫とどうしようか～と話して、
いつものレストランに行ってみるも、混んでいて諦める。
それでコープに寄って、サンドイッチとスープを。
食べたら眠くなってお昼寝。
NYの野球チーム、メッツがデイゲームをしてたので、見たり。
起きた後、外に出てみると、
またタカとカラスが争っていた。
他のタカが列を組んで飛んで来たのにはびっくりした。
直接助けに来たわけではなさそうだったけれど、５頭のタカが上空を飛んでいる時は不思議な感じだったな。
その間はカラスも攻撃せず。
夜はコープで買ってきたラーメン。
お庭のホウレンソウとケール入り。
不思議な天気の土曜日だった。
