yuko's diary 5/18/25

Sunday.

We woke up around 7, and took shower.

I did some weeding, and then we left for the fair.

We are volunteering at the booth.

The booth was for selling water and let kids do a spin.

It was quiet, but people still stop by.

This whole thing reminded me about school festival.

We ate sandwich that we brought from home, and had coffee.

We watched kid’s parade.

Then we took turn to walk around.

I got some free yarn, button, seeds, etc.

One boy asked my bread for the prize, and I hesitated but said yes.

He came back little later and gave me a necklace.

We asked our tamale guy to puck tamale in the tapper wear that we brought our sandwich.

I gave everyone my bread, and we look around little more, and left for home.

It feels sad when the festival ending.

Back home, we watched baseball while eating tamales.

Mets was not doing good.

My workout was full body.

Dan was talking to his sister, and came back.

He saw 6 deers just walking and eating in our yard.

Oh my, this is a big deer year.

We went to bed early.

日曜日。

のんびり起きて、交代でシャワーをあび、少し草刈してから準備して出発。

今日はフェアで店番。

11時半について、夫の友達のブースへ。

水を売ったり、子供達にゲームをさせたり。

暇なようで、ちょくちょく動きがある。

なんだか学祭を思い出す。

持参したサンドイッチとコーヒーでお昼。

子供達のパレードを見る。

夫と交代で出店も見て回ったけれど、もう半分くらい閉まっていて、空いていても投げやりな感じ。

フリーのブースがあちこちにあって、毛糸と種、ボタンやら色々貰った。

子供用のゲームでは、おもちゃがみんなに当たるんだけど、ある男の子がわたしの食パンを欲しがった。

ちょっと迷ったけれどあげた。

少しして戻ってきて、ネックレスをくれたのがうれしかった。

サンドイッチのタッパーに、いつものタマレを詰めてもらって、食パンをみんなにあげて、

もう少し見て回ってから帰宅。

祭りが終わる時の寂しい感じはいつも同じだな。

帰宅して野球を見ながらタマレを食べる。

メッツは振るわない。

ワークアウトはシリーズ最終日で全身運動だった。

夫が妹と電話していると思ったら、シカが6頭庭に！と言いながら戻ってきた。

一応丘の上までは追い払ったけれど、今年は本当に多いなぁ。

早めにおふとんへ。
