Thursday.
Dan went for work.
I started day with watering.
The irrigation water had stopped few days, so I had to use city water.
Thursday is the day I water all trees, so it took some time.
Then I did laundry, and mow the lawn.
I wasn’t very careful, but tried to be quick.
It felt like I’m shaving a giant head.
I hanged laundry, and did the second one.
Hand-washed the last winter clothes, and that’s it.
I planned to work inside house in the afternoon, as it was hot day,
but it was little bit cloudy and not that hot.
Before took bath, I shaved my head.
I’m shaving whole day.
There was supposed to be thunderstorm, but I don’t believe it anymore.
I took bath with window open just in case I hear the rain.
When I was mending my jacket, Dan came home.
Saige also came.
We went for a walk around the garden.
And she found fur of chipmunk...
She wasn’t very interested in, and let it go, but it was scary.
We were not hungry, and didn’t eat dinner on time.
Then I made ramen late night with kale and tomato.
It was hot, and delicious.
木曜日。
夫は仕事。
まず水やりを。
用水路が止まっているので、水道水で、必要なところだけ。
木曜日は木に水やりをする日なので、けっこう時間がかかった。
洗濯機を回してから芝刈り。
今日はスピード重視でががっと一気にしたので、荒いけれどまぁよし。
大きな頭をバリカンで剃っているような気持ちになる。
あ、剃り残し発見。
洗濯物を干して、二回めを回す。
冬物の最後の一枚も手洗いして、これですっきりした。
午後暑くなるかなと思って家の中の家事をしたけれど、
うっすら雲がかかっていてそこまで暑くない。
お風呂に入る前にツーブロックを剃り直す。
今日はずっと剃っている。
また雷雨の予報だったけれど、もう信用度がぜんぜんない。
洗濯物を干したまま、でもいちおう窓を開けて音が聞こえるようにして入った。
繕い物をしていたら夫が帰宅。
セージも遊びに来た。
いっしょにお庭を見てまわっていると、セージがまたなにかもぐもぐしている。
近づいてみると、縞模様の毛皮…、リスの毛皮だった。ひー。
これにはあまり執着せずに離してくれてほっとする。
小さなシマリスは貴重なのに…、なにかに食べられちゃったのかな。
しばらくだらだらしていて、晩ご飯のタイミングを逃す。
だいぶ遅くなってから、ラーメンをつくる。
炒めたケールと、トマトを入れて。
おいしくて熱くて汗が出てとてもよかった。
