yuko's diary 5/15/25

Thursday.

I went to visit my friend’s house.

She moved recently so I helped her garden.

We left little past 9.

Dan drove me down there, and was invited to stay, but he left.

We quickly started working.

We weeded lots of quack grass and transplanted tomatoes.

And peppers, thyme, cucumber, and sow watermelon seeds.

Then we fixed sprinkler.

We went to a sports bar type of place for lunch.

I had turkey sandwich on sourdough.

It’s been a while since I had fried potato.

Then we went to get raspberry starts, played with dogs and goats.

Dan came to pick me up, and I went home.

Back home I started shokupan, and did laundry.

Then I transplanted raspberries in the triangle park, and by the quince bush.

Little weeding.

It was cloudy.

Dan made quesadillas and bean dips.

We ate it with avocado and cilantro.

My workout was legs.

I was so tired, had to skip little bit.

We watched baseball.

We saw Ohtani hit two three-run homer.

It looks so easy.

I baked shokupan right before went to bed.

木曜日。

今日は同僚のお家へ遊びに行く日。

交代でシャワーを浴びて、9時過ぎに出発。

最近引っ越したので、お庭の草引きと、トマトの植え替えを手伝いに。

夫はちょっとお邪魔して、帰って行った。

それからすぐに作業に取り掛かる。

クワックグラス（シバムギ？）という雑草が生えていて、これが手強い。

根っこがずーっと伸びていって、取り残したらそこからまた生えてくる。

でも全部きれいに抜けると気持ちいい。

トマト、ペッパー類、キュウリ、タイムを植えて、スイカの種を蒔いてとりあえず終了。

スプリンクラーの修理もする。

すぐ近くのレストランでお昼。

サワードウのサンドイッチを頼んだら、柔らかい白いパンで出てきたのでちょっとがっかり。

フライドポテトはおいしかった。

それからラズベリーの苗を採りに行って、ペットと遊んで、夫に迎えにきてもらう。

帰宅後食パンを仕込んで、洗濯を回し、ラズベリーを植える。

三角公園の中に3本、カリンのそばに残りを植えた。

それから草引き。

曇っていて、今にも降りそうな天気。

夫がケーサディーヤとビーンディップを作ってくれた。

アボカドとパクチーを乗せて、サルサと一緒に食べる。

ワークアウトは脚。

流石に疲れていて、ちょっと端折った。

野球を見る。

大谷選手が2回スリーランホームランを打つのを見る。

なんとも簡単そうに打つなぁ。

もう遅かったので迷ったけれど、寝る前に食パンを焼き上げた。
