Sunday.
I knew it’s going to rain, so I went outside first.
I covered those newly planted trees with leaves and humus.
Then I went to the sow mill and got some wood chips and sow dust.
I layered them too.
I transplanted herbs into garden.
After had coffee, I potted up all peppers.
Now, all of seedlings are in individual pots.
Is it done now? hmm.
I was working in the mobile home, and it was cold.
Even though i was using electric heater, my hands were numb.
The rain was not those Washington rain, but the real one.
Then I did nothing for rest of the day.
I couldn’t go out, and it was cold.
We rest up.
And made one more pizza.
In the evening, the rain finally stopped and sun came out.
I saw a huge rainbow.
A deer was eating new leaves on neighbor’s junk yard.
This one is always alone.
Tonight was moon eclipse.
And it is called blood moon because it looks red.
We were told that we could watch it from 8:30.
But the moon was covered with clouds.
When I tried again around 10 or so, I could see it.
It was not full eclipse anymore, but it was still interesting.
When we went to bed,
the full moon was so blight.
We could see it through our bed room window.
日曜日。
雨の予報だったので、その前に、とまず外に出る。
昨日植えた木の根本にまず腐葉土をかぶせて、
それからとなりの木工所へ行って、外皮と木屑をとってくる。
それも順番に被せる。これで完成！
ハーブも植え替えていく。
コーヒーを飲んだ後、今度は室内でペッパー類の鉢上げ。
これでいちおう全て、個別の鉢に入った。
室内で種から育てるのはここまでだろうか？
モバイルホームで作業をしていたら、
暖房を入れていても、手がかじかむくらい寒い。
雨も本格的に降ってきた。
こんなにしっかりした雨はここではめずらしい。
その後はもうのんびり。
雨で外に出られないし、寒いし。
ただただだらだらした。
残りの生地でまたピザを焼く。
夕方、日が差してきたので外に出てみると、大きな虹。
鹿も出てきて、隣の空き地で新芽を食べていた。
この鹿、ずっとひとりだな。
夜は月食が見えるはず。
しかも赤いのでブロッド・ムーンというらしい。
楽しみにしていたけれど、雲が出ている。
日の入りの８時半から始まるとのことで、探しにいったけれど見えない。
その後も定期的に観測していたら、
１０時ごろだったろうか、ようやく雲の切れ間から見えた。
その頃にはもう半分くらいしか欠けてなかったし、なぜか赤くなかったけれど、
やっぱり不思議だった。
眠る頃にはまんまるに戻った月。
寝室の細長い窓が明るく光っていた。
