Mother’s day.
My mom texted me that she received the flower.
The driver told them that was the best flower of the day.
I went out to water the garden by 7:30.
As I didn’t water trees, it was quicker.
Those wheat are growing so fast.
I had to cut some of them to grow the crop.
It got hot pretty quick.
I also moved seedlings out.
They need to get used to the sun.
I let them out until noon.
Dan was eating tacos in the morning.
I had two at lunch time.
It was really good.
Then we had nap together.
The bedroom is nice and cool.
We woke up before evening and worked on projects.
I washed winter clothes in cold water and hanged outside.
Then we moved firewood.
Now the porch looked really nice.
I worked in the garden little more.
I can only work outside in the morning, and evening.
Dan made us taco-rice.
Very good.
母の日。
朝起きたら実家の母からお花届いているよの連絡がある。
宅配ドライバーに、今日いちばんきれいなお花ですと言ってもらったらしい。
お世辞かもしれないけれど、うれしい。
7時半には外に出て、まず水やり。
今日は木にはあげなかったので比較的早く終わった。
カバークロップの麦の勢いがすごい。
うまく発芽しなかったところに種を足したり、雑草を抜いたりして午前中を過ごす。
じわじわと暑くなってくる。
ポーチに置いている苗たちにも少しずつ慣れてもらわないと。
今日はお昼前くらいまでしっかり太陽に当たってもらった。
昨日煮込んだお肉をつかって、夫は朝からタコスをつくっていた。
うちのタコスは、あの小さなトルティーヤではなく、大きなものをつかうので、ふたつでもうおなかいっぱいになる。
わたしはお昼にふたつつくってもらって食べた。
その後ふたりでお昼寝。
寝室はまだ涼しいのがありがたい。
夕方に起きて、夫は作業の続き。
わたしは冬服を水洗いする。
今日は夫のカーディガン3枚、わたしの服2枚。
外に干す。
それからポーチを片付けて、春につくった薪を積み直す。
わたしも手伝う。
これでポーチがかなりすっきりした。
日が沈む前、まだ明るいけれど暑さはおさまる頃、すこし作業ができる。
夫がごはんを炊いてくれて、夜はタコライスを食べた。
