yuko's diary 5/10/26

Sunday.

I woke up early and went out to water.

It took long as I watered the tree too.

It was cloudy and chilly.

I did laundry.

I was worried about rain, but it didn’t happen.

We made pasta salad for lunch.

I harvested lettuce, spinach, and radishes for it.

After Dan left for work, I did one more laundry.

Then transplanting indigo, and weeding.

Also potting up lavender and Chinese pepper.

Then weeded whole afternoon.

The sun was not out and I could weed whole day, but then the sun came out later.

So I went inside.

I took a nap.

I packed my winter clothes and bring summer ones out.

There will be chilly days ahead, so I still keep some of them.

And the summer clothes are still little early to wear.

I need more of all year round kind of clothes.

I ate quick dinner, and did my workout.

Then went back to the garden.

I did it until it was too dark to see.

I read my book until I was too sleepy.

I think I woke up when Dan came home.

日曜日。

今日は早めに起きてお庭へ。

木にもしっかり水やり。

曇っていて肌寒いくらい。

洗濯を回す。

雨が降らないかちょっと心配になるような雲だけど、結局降らなかった。

お昼はパスタサラダ。

お庭のレタス、ホウレンソウ、ラディッシュを入れる。

夫を見送って、さらにもう一度洗濯。

それから植え替えと草引き。

藍の残りをお庭の端っこに植えて、ラベンダーと花山椒を鉢上げ。

その後はひたすら草引き。

太陽が出ていないので、永遠にやっていられそうだったけれど、夕方から急に強い日差しが出てきたので退散。

少しお昼寝。

衣替えを進める。

まだ寒い日もあるので、全ては終わず。出した夏服もすぐ着れるものは少ない。

間の服をもっと増やすべきなんだろうなと思う。

夜ごはんはあるもので済まして、ワークアウト。

それからまたお庭へ。

日が落ちる直前のお庭でまた草引き。

暗くなるまでやっていた。

眠くなるまで読書。

夫が帰宅した時に起きたと思う。
