Wednesday.

Work day again.

We only had one patient and he didn’t show up.

I read a lot.

In education, at work place, in everything and everywhere in our lives, the racism against Black and Indigenous peoples are so much worse than other people of color.

They are big part of this country’s terrible origin.

So you have to know if you want to understand this country.

Today I learned that all the old universities had used enslaved people.

We also went for a walk three times.

It was sunny and nice.

My colleague said that she might leave early today.

Then the phone rang.

At 30 minutes before I leave.

We had an ER add-on.

When we finished it, it was little before 5.

Dan made ramen for us.

I skipped my workouts and opened box of tree.

I put everything in the water for planting tomorrow.

We watched baseball, basketball.

We were both very tired.

水曜日。

今日も仕事へ。

一件しか入ってなかったのに、さらにキャンセルになって、なんとも暇な日。

同僚は学校の勉強を、わたしは読書をさらに進めた。

教育の場で、仕事で、人生のありとあらゆる場面で、Black の人と、 Indigenousの人の受ける対応の酷さは他の非白人と全く違う。

それはやっぱり、アメリカを作る上で、虐殺された人々と、略奪され酷使された人々だからだろう。

だから、アメリカを知る上では避けて通れない。

アメリカには古い大学が多いけれど、その格式ある大学のどれもが奴隷を酷使していたことを初めて知った。

古いということはそういうことなのだけど、ふたつをつなげて考えたことがなかった。

合間に3回歩きにも出る。

いい天気でとても気持ちがいい。

今日は早めに帰ろうかな、と同僚が言ったすぐ後に電話が鳴る。

ERの追加。

あと30分でわたしの就業時間というところ。

うわー、と言いながらサクサクとこなす。

それでも終わったら5時前だった。

夫がつくってくれたラーメンを食べる。

ワークアウトはパスして、届いた木の苗のお世話。

植えるのは明日にして、バケツに張った水につけておく。

野球を見たり、バスケを見たり。

なんだかとても疲れた。
