I got my period.
Coffee, yogurt with honey and apple.
Today trees that I was waiting for months had finally arrived.
Apple, Asian pear, mulberry, and wild strawberry.
I opened the box, and soaked them in cold water.
It was too sunny to plant them, so I dag the holes first.
Digging was much harder than I remember.
I was exhausted.
Dan got new tire for the mower, and
mow the whole back yard.
It looked very nice.
I rest up in the afternoon.
As I had period cramp, Dan made hot water bag,
and brought me herb tea, cookie, apple, and soup.
I read the same book. Couldn’t read without crying.
Then I woke up and organized seeds that I’d plant next.
In the early evening, around 4, I started moving.
I planted apple first. This one has a great root system.
Then, pear, mulberry, and wild strawberry.
Put saw dust on top, and watered again.
It took me 2 hours to finish.
I was exhausted again.
We tried to watch the new season of Ozark, but we didn’t have good connection...
朝起きたら生理。
コーヒーとヨーグルトにリンゴ、蜂蜜かけ。
今日は待っていた果樹の苗が届く日。
リンゴ、ナシ、桑、それとワイルドストロベリー２株。
さっそく開けて、冷たい水に浸けておく。
植えるにはすこしいい天気すぎるので、まず穴を掘る。
リンゴとナシは前回植えた苗の横に。
桑はナシの横に。
ワイルドストロベリーは用意していた花壇に。
穴をしっかり掘るのは久しぶり。
３つ掘り終えたらぐったりだった。
夫はまたパンクしていた、芝刈り機のタイヤを直し、
前庭以外をしっかり芝刈りをしてくれた。
すっきりして見えるし、たぶんシカ避けにもなりそう。
午後はしっかり休む。
ちょうど生理痛もきたので、湯たんぽをつくってもらい、
ハーブティー、スープ、クッキー、リンゴ、と枕元に運んでもらった。
昨日の続きの読書。今日も泣かずには読めなかった。
すこし元気になったら、次に植える種の準備をしたりしていた。
夕方、まだ暖かいけれど動き出す。
まずリンゴを。この苗は根っこがしっかりしている。
それからナシ、桑の木、ときて、ワイルドストロベリー。
植えた後に木屑をかけて、また水やり。
しっかり２時間くらいかかった。
またくたくた。
夜は楽しみにしていたシリーズのあたらしいのを見ようと思ったけれど、
ネットの調子が悪くて断念。
早く寝た。
