Today a smaller bird, not woodpecker came to woke me up.
It was chilly, but sunny day.
Coffee.
Then I took care of seedlings.
I moved them out and let them have sun.
Looks like they had plenty water.
Outside, small trees I planted started opening leaves.
So beautiful.
I used weed wacker to cut grass around the herb garden.
Dan was organized things from T.
Most of them are tools, and new.
We didn’t eat anything, so I made miso soup and rice.
The new miso was organic and locally made.
There are many Japanese people..
In the evening, I planted out cabbage etc, and bee balm.
Tonight might be the last day of under 40F.
I need to start planting out.
Relaxing night.
The sun was out till little past 8.
今日はキツツキではなく、小さめの鳥が屋根のところをつついていて起きた。
肌寒いけれどいい天気。
コーヒー。
まずは苗のお世話から。
日にたっぷり当てて、様子を見る。
水切れはしていなかった。
それから外のお庭へ。
去年植えた小さな木たちがいっせいに芽吹いていてうれしい。
ハーブガーデンのまわりを、すこしだけ草刈り。
夫はもらってきた物の整理をしていた。
道具類がほとんどで、しかもだいたいすべて新品だ。
なんとなくなにも食べないまま過ごして、それからお味噌汁とごはんだけつくる。
あたらしいお味噌は、ローカルでつくられたオーガニックのもの。
すごいな、それだけ日本人が多いのだろう。
夕方、キャベツ類と、ビーバームを外に植え替えた。
今晩ですごく冷え込むのは最後のはず。
ここからどんどん植え替えがはじまる。
夜ものんびりして過ごす。
８時過ぎまで明るくて、とてもきれいな日だった。
