yuko's diary 4/26/25

Saturday.

I baked rye bread in the morning and cleaned up everything.

We arrived at the community center around 9:30.

I got a spot by the back door, and put the small table.

We put antique table cloth and put wood board and wood tray, and more antique cloth.

I put 4 shokupan and 3 rye bread.

I also put my ceramics and bracelet.

Dan put the beautiful label and we were ready.

After opening, the lady works here bought both kind of bread and one bowl.

Wow.

I kept selling and was out of bread by little after noon.

Dan was telling me that I will be sold out, but I was not sure.

Organic bread, $8 is not too much, apparently.

I talked a lot with many people, and also we talked each other a lot.

We’ve been missing each other last week, and at home, we both things to do, so we had lots of catching up to do.

We packed and left at 4.

We cooked ramen and had good dinner.

We watched baseball, and stayed little later than yesterday.

A good Saturday again.

土曜日。

朝一番にライ麦パンを焼き、片付けて準備。

9時半前にはコミュニティセンターに着いた。

裏のドアの横に小さなテーブルをもらって、ブースを設置する。

アンティークのテーブルクロスの上に、木の板とお盆、その上にもアンティークの布をかけて、パンを置いていく。

食パン4斤、ライ麦パン3斤。

前々回作った磁器のボウルと組み紐のブレスレットも並べる。

夫がラベルを綺麗につけてくれて出来上がり。

始まってすぐ、コミュニティセンターで働く女性が両種類のパンとボウルを買ってくれた。

その後もさくさくと売れて、お昼過ぎにはパンは完売。

夫は完売するよと言ってくれていたけれど、わたしは半信半疑だったのでうれしかった。

オーガニックのパン、8ドルってどうなのかなと思ったけれど、まぁ、自分でも喜んで買う値段ではあるなと思う。

たくさんの人としゃべって楽しかったし、何より夫とたくさんおしゃべりできたのがよかった。

先週は入れ違いの生活だったし、家で二人とも起きていても、お互いやることがあったりして、ずっとしゃべってばかりもいられない。

とてもいい機会だった。

4時に片付けて帰宅。

コープで買ってきたラーメンを作って食べる。

満足満足。

野球を見て、ダラダラして、昨日より少し夜更かしして眠った。

とても良い一日だった。
