Friday.
Dan had to go to work for half day.
It was not raining, but not sunny yet.
I washed my sweaters and Dan’s cardigans.
Hanged them outside, and put the seedling out, and the sun came out.
I need to watch those seedlings.
A bee was trapped inside kitchen.
It happens every day now.
I catch them with small vacuum machine and let them go outside.
This one was so weak, I brought her to the flower, and she immediately checking it.
I sow some warm weather vegetable seeds inside.
Cucumber, butternut squash, etc.
I prepared for tomorrow, and studied BLS.
While boiling potato and eggs to make potato salad.
Today’s dinner is salad and salad.
Dan came home at 3pm.
Saige was frozen at the bottom of our pine tree.
I thought she might found snake, and went to check.
It was a tiny mouse.
She was not very good hunter, and I let her deal with it.
Later when I went to check, there was a dead mouse.
Oh wow, she can actually kill it.
Dan had to pick it up.
Dan mowed the lawn, and I did weed wacking.
The sun now is so strong, I was sweaty.
It reminded me of the summer evenings.
It will be hot soon.
After dinner, Dan cut some materials for the show to make a shelf.
It will be fun.
We were sleepy before 9.
It was still light out but anyway we went to bed early.

夫は半日仕事へ。
雨は止んだけれどまだ不安定な天気。
今日はわたしのセーター類と夫のカーディガン3着。
夫のセーターはこれだけ！全然着ない。
外に干して、苗も出した頃、太陽も出てきた。
苗は様子を見ながら。
台所にミツバチが入ってきてしまう。
最近多いなぁ。
小型の掃除機で吸い取って、外に連れていく。
今日のハチは飛び立たないでよろりとしていたので、指に乗せて、カリンの花のところまで連れて行ってあげたら、すぐに蜜を吸い出した。
室内で種蒔き。
キュウリやバターナッツスクワッシュなど、温かい時期の野菜たち。
明日の準備をして、BLSの勉強をする。
合間にジャガイモを煮て、ゆで卵をつくって、ピクルスを入れてポテトサラダにした。
夜ご飯は昨日夫がもらってきたサラダセットとポテトサラダ。
暖かくなるにつれて生野菜を食べる割合がどんどん増えてきた。
夫が帰宅したのは3時ごろ。
前庭の松の木の根元で、何かを睨んだままセージが動かない。
よく生き物を見つけたときにしている動作だ。
ヘビだったら逃してほしいと思って見にいくと、小さなネズミだった。
でも、猫のようにスマートに狩れない。悪いけど笑ってしまった。
しばらくわちゃわちゃしているなと思ったら、飽きたのかうちにきた。
後で見にいくと、ネズミの死体が。あらま、ちゃんと狩れるのね。
夫に頼んで片付けてもらう。
夫はちょっと休んでから、前庭の芝刈りをしてくれた。
わたしも小型の草刈機でお手伝い。
日差しが急に強くてグッと暑くなる。
夏の夕陽を思い出す強さ。
わー、暑くなるんだな。
食後、明日の展示の棚をどうしようと言って、夫が工夫してくれた。
リフォームの時に使った端材を切って、積み重ねて棚にすることに。
楽しみだな～。
8時すぎにはもう眠い。
外はまだうっすら明るいけれど、早めにお布団に入った。
