yuko's diary 4/24/26

Friday.

It was a sunny day, but chilly.

When I went outside to water, the hose was frozen.

Then I did mowing.

I only mow back yard, but it took me two hours or so.

Dan did the front yard.

He made burrito for lunch.

The sprouts of indigo grew so quickly, I thinned them, and transplanted some.

Then I took a bath.

We had a relaxing afternoon.

We read our book on hammock.

It’s cold inside house, the outside under the sun is warmer.

We had fish and chips for dinner.

I made red cabbage and celery salad.

We watched baseball highlights and went to bed early.

金曜日。

朝からいい天気。でも寒い。

着替えて水やりをしようとしたら、ホースの一部が凍っていた。

それから芝刈り。

裏庭を丁寧にやると、あっという間に2時間くらい経っていた。

前庭は夫に任せる。

夫がつくってくれたブリトーで早めのお昼ごはん。

藍が発芽して、あっという間に育っていたので、間引きして、少し植え替え。

それからお風呂に浸かる。

午後はのんびりして過ごした。

ハンモックに揺られて読書したり。

家の中がひんやりしているので、外の方が暖かい。

夜ごはんはフィッシュアンドチップス。

紫キャベツとセロリのナムル。

野球のハイライトを見て、早めにおふとんに入る。
