Saturday.
I woke up around 7 and had cappuccino that Dan went to get.
We had a relaxing morning, and went to branch.
It was a beautiful day, again.
At the restaurant, our favorite waiter told us many information about the town.
The place to go, and events. There was pow wow today.
Dan asked him about basketball and he told us about the community center.
Back to the room, and watched TV until little past noon.
Then we went off to the town.
Community center was easy to found and no body was playing. Perfect.
We played as usual for 40 minutes.
Then we went to the donation based bookstore that I wanted to check.
A guy there was very nice and told us many things.
Wayside Select Books.
I’ve missed bookstore for 4 years.
Pandemic and moving gave no chance to spend hours in the bookstore.
We looked around carefully and selected 3 books.
He said that we got a best browsing of the day award.
We chatted for a while and when we ready to leave, Dan was introducing himself when the guy said his name is also Dan.
Hahaha
It was a great experience.
He gave me 5$ gift card for my birthday.
Back to the room, and we just rested for the rest of the day.
Dan told me that all worries were lifted up from my face.
I agree.
When I am at home, I can’t stop thinking little work around house.
I love it there though.
I need to escape sometime.
We had pizza for dinner which was not bad.
I was ready to bed by 9 again.
A great holiday.
土曜日。
7時ごろ起きて、夫が買ってきてくれたカプチーノを飲む。
しばらくダラダラして、10時にブランチへ。
今日もいい天気。
レストランではいつも見るウェイターの人がいて、色々教えてくれた。
わたしがカメラを持っているのをみて、景色がいいところを教えてくれたり、高校ではパウワウをやっていますよ、とのこと。
夫がバスケットボールができる場所を聞いたら、コミュニティセンターを教えてくれた。
わーい。
部屋に戻ってのんびりして、お昼過ぎに出かける。
コミュニティセンターはすぐそこにあって、わかりやすくてよかった。
誰もいなくて、いつものように40分ほどシュートを打って遊ぶ。
真っ青な空、暑くもなく、寒くもなく最高。
それから、すぐ近くにある、事前に調べていた古本屋さんへ。
ウェイサイド·セレクト·ブックス。
ドネーションベースで、売り上げは町のいろんなイベントに使うらしい。
入ってすぐ面白い感じのおじさんがいろいろ教えてくれた。
本屋という場所にもう何年も行っていない。
もともと大好きで、2時間くらい長居できるのに、パンデミックと移住で、4年ほど行けていないのはかなり寂しかった。
夫も同じで、じっくり見て回ってから3冊選んだ。
さっきのおじさんのところに持っていくと、The best browsing of the day awardは君たちだよ、と言っていた。あはは。
今日一番じっくり見ていた客ということらしい。
色々おしゃべりして、別れ際に夫が手を差し出しながら自己紹介すると、なんと夫と同じ名前だった。しかも同時に言っていて最高。
昨日誕生日だったと行ったら、5ドルのギフトカードをくれた。
また来よう。
部屋に戻って、本を読んだり、テレビを見たりダラダラする。
お腹が空いたら昨日の残り物を温めて。
バスケを見たり、何もしない夕方。
家でもダラダラしているけど、家だと、あれこれ目に入る小さな家事があって、つい何かしてしまう。
ホテルにいるとそれがなくて本当に楽。
夫に、気が軽くなった顔をしていると言われた。
夜、売店のピザを買ってみる。
意外としっかりしたピザで美味しくいただいた。
今日もまた9時過ぎには眠い。
夫はしばらく起きていたみたい。
