Two woodpecker.
Sunny morning.
Dan felt much better.
Coffee and yogurt with cereal, banana, and apple.
I was shocked to see some seedlings were killed by cold.
There was no frost, but the temperature was lower than yesterday.
But then I realized that some of them are just fine.
In fact, the cold killed kinds that I planted too much.
So now I have stronger seedlings.
Anyway, I need to watch the temperature closely.
I potted up the survivors, and transplant some other.
Then I found the irrigation water pressure is so high.
It’s because Debbie’s is off.
I decided to water the garden knowing there will be rain again.
A bird was following me. It wanted water.
Dan made feast that he was planning to cook yesterday.
Salmon, roasted potatoes, and asparagus.
There were more on the beautiful plate.
Though it was big salmon, I ate all.
Dan also gave me card which he doesn’t do every year.
So cute.
We were so full, couldn’t think of dinner.
Also I kept eating leftover potatoes.
We ended up no dinner.
We watched the second season of “Russian Doll” on Netflix.
I love it.
It was supposed to rain all night, but didn’t last.
今日はキツツキ２回。
いい天気。
夫の調子も良さそう。
コーヒーとヨーグルトにいろいろ載せたもの。
苗の様子を見に行って仰天。
けっこうな数の苗が萎れていた。
あらら。
霜は降りていなかったのだけど、気温は昨日よりも下がっていたみたい。
ショックだったけれど、よくよく見ると、全部ダメになった種類はない。
むしろ、たくさん植えすぎた種類が、強いのだけ残して減ったので、そういう意味ではよかったのかも。
でも最低気温は常に注意しないとな、反省。
残った苗を鉢上げしたり、植え替えたりで忙しくしたあと、
灌水を開けてみると、お隣が今止めているから、水圧がその分高い。
楽しくって、そのまま水やり。
それからスプリンクラーも今年初めてつけてみた。
鳥があとをちょろちょろついてきておもしろい。水が欲しいんだよね。
夫が昨日作る予定だったご馳走を改めてつくってくれた。
サーモンとオーブンでローストしたポテトとアスパラガス。
他にもいろいろ盛って、きれいなプレート。
おいしくってぺろりと食べた。
夫はカードを書いたりするのがあまり得意ではないけど、
今年はカードもくれた。
お腹がいっぱいで、夕食のことが考えられず。
わたしは残りのポテトをずっとつまみ食いしていた。
なんとなく夜は食べないまま。
Netflixで、Russian Dollのシーズン２を見る。
おもしろいな～。
夜雨の予定だったけれど、あまり降らなかった。
