yuko's diary 4/2/26

Thursday.

I was off today.

There were many things I wanted to do today.

I woke up earlier and started boiling beans.

Then started sourdough, and chili.

I added some bacon and it was great.

It was cloudy in the morning, but got sunny by the time Dan left for work.

I did laundry, and went to work in the garden.

Sowing, transplanting, potting up, weeding, there are more things to do.

Saige came to say hi several times.

I worked outside until 4, and went inside to bake sourdough.

I ate leftover chili for dinner.

Then I went back to outside.

The evening is long now, I can stay outside after dinner.

Dan called me while I was weeding.

Sun was setting, not cold, not hot, it was just perfect.

Then I did my workout.

And I studied for IV class that I will take in two weeks.

There is something I already know, and something I didn’t.

When Dan came home, I was still studying.

木曜日。

今日はおやすみ。

したいことがたくさんある。

早めに起きて、豆を茹でる。

サワードウを仕込む。

それからチリを煮込んだ。

ベーコンもちょっとだけ入れたらいつもと違う味になっておもしろい。

朝は曇っていたけど、夫を見送る頃には晴れてきた。

洗濯物を干して、お庭へ。

種植え、植え替え、鉢上げ、草引き、することがたくさん。

昨日の雨で土が柔らかいし、草引きはやりやすかった。

セージが何回か遊びにきた。

4時までずっとお庭で作業してから引き上げる。

サワードウを焼いて、お昼の残りで晩ごはん。

それからまたお庭へ。

夕方が長いので、草引きの続き。

休憩中の夫から電話。

お庭で作業しながら話すのは楽しい。

寒くもなく暑くもなく、とても気持ちがいいし、夕陽がきれいだった。

その後にワークアウト。

それから、2週間後に行く、IVのトレーニングの予習。

知っていることと、びっくりすることと、両方ある。

夫が帰宅する頃にはまだ起きて勉強していた。
