It was sunny in the morning, but soon it got cloudy.
And it was cold.
That kind of weather made me useless.
According to the news, it was not only here, but all over America.
Oregon had a first ever snow in April.
When we were having coffee,
Fish and Wildlife came to tell us that they would come to check the creek.
They are trying to find steelhead.
Steelhead is a type of trout, but goes to sea and coming back to the river.
They look nothing a like to the rainbow trout.
They were big, and strong. Many country including Japan consider them as invasive species.
After taking care of seedlings,
I had no power left.
We stayed in the bed.
In the evening, we made out of the bed and walked to the co-op.
Back home, while watching the NBA playoffs,
Dan made pasta.
I had this weird headache at night.
I guess it’s the weather.
朝は日が出ていたのだけれど、気づいたら曇り。
しかも寒いので、ぐっと動けなくなる。
ここだけじゃなくて、今週はアメリカ全土で寒いみたい。
ポートランドで記録史上初めて４月に雪が降ったそう。
コーヒーをのんでゆっくりしていたら、
Fish and Wildlife の人たちが来る。
（連邦政府の、野生動物保護係。日本で言うところの環境省？でもいちおう警察みたいな権限もある）
Steelheadという魚の観察をしているので、これから定期的に小川にくるとのこと。
いちおう小川の一部はうちの敷地内なので挨拶してくれた。
この魚はニジマスの仲間で、海まで行って産卵のために帰ってきたタイプのもの。
結構でかい。
サケみたいに一度の産卵で死んでしまわず、何度も行うとのこと。
タフすぎるやろ、と思ったら案の定、日本や他の国で外来種として扱われているみたい。
（でも日本では１９２０年代に意図的に移入している）
苗のお世話をしたらあとはもう、なんだか何もできなかった。
夫といっしょにベッドでぬくぬくしていた。
夕方、えいっと起き上がって、コープまで歩いて買い物にいく。
それから、NBAのプレーオフを見ながら夫がパスタをつくってくれて食べた。
夜、変な頭痛。
低気圧だろうか。
