yuko's diary 4/11/26

Saturday.

It was cloudy and also rainy.

I started shokupan and rye bread.

I realized this weather might be great for transplanting, but when I started, so did rain.

I had to come inside.

So instead, I gave myself a haircut.

I shaved inside, and made it short bob.

I thinned a lot and the amount of hair on the floor was crazy.

Took shower.

Dan was making mushed potato.

I made broccoli, and tuna steak.

I puffed little flour and sautéed in butter, and added soy sauce in the end.

Dan made salad, and it was a feast.

The rain had stopped and I went outside again.
I transplanted onion, lettuce, and raspberries.

Then we got chicken wire and made fence for little trees.

When I walked around the garden, I found something ate garlic leaves to the ground.

Oh no.

That never happened.

So we moved fence for tomato and the netting.

Hmm.

For dinner, we ate same potato and broccoli and fish sticks.

Then I baked shokupan.

We watched some interviews at night.

土曜日。

朝から曇り、雨の予報。

食パンとライ麦パンを仕込む。

この天気は植え替えに最適なのでは、と慌てて外に出て作業をしたけれど、遅かった。

ざーっと降られて退散。

気を取り直して、散髪。

ツーブロックの、耳がぎり隠れるくらいのショートボブ。

内側をものすごくスキバサミですいた。

夫が散髪した時に出る髪の量と全然違って笑える。

シャワーを浴びる。

夫がマッシュポテトをつくってくれていた。

ブロッコリーの甘酢炒めをつくってから、ツナステーキを焼く。

粉を叩いてバターで焼いた後、少しだけ醤油を足した。

サラダもつけて、豪勢なお昼になった。

その頃には雨も上がっていたので、またお庭へ。

タマネギ、レタス、ラズベリーの植え替え。

ホームセンターで網を買ってきて、若い木の柵の強化。

その後お庭を見てまわっていたら、ニンニクの葉が、根っこ近くまで齧られていた。

え！びっくり。

4年くらいニンニクを育てているけれど、葉っぱを食べられたのは初めてだ。

慌てて、とりあえずトマトの柵を移動して、網をかけておく。

うーん、何か考えないと。

夜ごはんはお昼の残りのマッシュポテトとブロッコリーに、フィッシュスティックを足す。

食べ終わってから、食パンを焼いた。

夜はインタビュー動画を見たりしてのんびり過ごす。
