yuko's diary 4/1/26

Wednesday.

It was raining.

I went to work.

It was a busy morning, but went smoothly.

There was this Easter event that the hospital started yesterday.

You have to find little bunny in the hospital, and if you find golden bunny, you’ll get a basket.

It sounded fun, but I was too busy to go hunting.

When a patient went to bathroom, I was reading notices on the board, and realized there is something on top of frame.

It was the golden bunny!

After scanning the patient, I went to the radiology office and told them that I found it.

Then people came to take photo of me and basket.

Everyone was exited and that was fun.

I shared candies with techs and gave big stuffed bunny to my colleague’s daughter.

I was done by 4 and walked home.

It was still raining on and off.

I ate quickly and went outside to transplant.

As it will rain overnight, I wanted to finish this before that.

I did my workout and read my book.

I’ll be off tomorrow and will make chili.

I soaked beans. Kidney beans and chick peas.

I was awake when Dan came home, but fell asleep soon after.

水曜日。

今日も仕事へ。

朝から小雨。

今日も予定が詰まっていたけれど、スムーズに進んだ。

病院のイースター企画が昨日から始まった。

あちこちに隠された小さなウサギを探せ！というもの。

金色のウサギを見つけたらお菓子のバスケットがもらえる。

おもしろそうと思いつつ、仕事に追われて探せなかった。

患者さんがトイレに行ったので、待っている間に掲示板を眺めていたら、掲示板の枠の上の隅っこに何かある。

金色のウサギだ！

スキャンを終えてから、放射線科のオフィスに「見つけた！」と持っていくと、みんなとっても喜んでくれた。

その後、企画部の人が写真を撮りに来て、バスケットをもらった。

大の大人がはしゃいで、真剣にゲームをするのは楽しい。

お菓子はみんなで分けて、大きなウサギのぬいぐるみは同僚の娘さんにあげた。

4時に上がって、歩いて帰宅。

雨は止んだり降ったりを繰り返している。

さっと晩ごはんにして、それからお庭へ。

植え替えと鉢上げ。

一晩中雨らしいので、その前に植えてしまいたかった。

ワークアウトして、その後は読書。

明日はお休み。

チリをつくることにしたので、豆を水につけておく。

キドニービーンズと、ヒヨコ豆。

夫が帰る頃まで起きていたけれど、その後すぐに寝た。
