Friday.

It was cloudy day.

I did laundry, and took shower.

I folded and put rye bread dough into mold.

Then started white sourdough.

We should keep eating whole grain, but it doesn’t rise.

So I was trying to find the middle but decided to bake both.

We will eat whole grain mainly, but sometimes, we can eat white one too.

I made soup.

Garlic, onion, carrots, celery, red cabbage, sweet potato, and chick pea which I soaked overnight.

Then added soy meat in the end.

We had soup and toast, and went out for a walk.

We decided that we need a chainsaw, but we have no idea.

So we walked the saw store in the town, and talked to them.

They recommend gas, but Dan’s friend recommends battery.

Hmm.

We just need a simple easy one to cut few times a year, but there are many things to consider.

We walked on the bathroom whole afternoon.

I have been spotting ants in the bathroom.

So we decided to seal with skirting and mud.

Dan put the board and I mudded.

After what we thought the problem, the ants were still here.

Why? Where?

Rye bread turned out great.

We had soup with toast for dinner.

No show to watch.

We watched “The Miracle Club”

Maggie Smith’s last film.

It was very straight forward, no really bad person, no twist.

It reminded me of movies in 90s.

金曜日。

曇り。

洗濯して、シャワーを浴びる。

ライ麦パンを成形して型に入れる。

横で白い小麦がメインのサワードウを仕込む。

全粒粉100％が体にいいけれど、膨らみにくい。

間を探ろうかと思っていたけれど、両方焼いて交互に食べればいいかと思いついた。

朝のうちからスープを仕込む。

ニンニク、タマネギ、ニンジン、セロリ、紫キャベツ、サツマイモとひと晩水に漬けておいたヒヨコ豆。

最後に大豆ミートを入れて出来上がり。

昨日のパンと一緒に食べて、散歩に出かける。

庭の木の剪定や、薪を切るのに、チェーンソーがあったらいいのではということになった。

でも何も知識がない。

メーカー選び、サイズ、ガソリンかバッテリー式か、などなど検討することがたくさんある。

家の近くにチェーンソーの専門店があるので行って話を聞いてみた。

ここの人はガソリン押し。夫の友達はバッテリーを強く勧めている。

うーーーーん。

一年に数回切るくらいだから、簡単なものでいいのだけど、なんだか難しい。

午後はバスルームの作業。

ここのところアリが出るようになっていたので、床と壁の間の隙間を埋めていくことにした。

夫が板を切り、貼り付けて、わたしがパテで隙間を埋める。

一番怪しいと思っていた壁を埋めても、まだ出てくる。

いったいどこから？うーん。

ライ麦パンはとてもきれいに焼けた。

ここから一日置いて食べる。

夕飯もスープ。

ワークアウトはコア。

シリーズがないので、映画を観る。

The Miracle Club、マギー·スミスの最期の映画出演作。

特にひねりもなく、みんな結局いい人で、なんだか90年代くらいの映画みたい。

イギリスの田舎の感じが好きだった。
