Sunny!
Coffee and raisin bran.
I got my period late last night and it hurts.
Dan made me a hot water bag, and I lay down on the bed.
But I thought it might be better working on the ground.
Dan was about to go to see his new doctor in Omak.
I started working in the garden.
And that helped a lot.
I didn’t work long though.
Instead, I recorded my radio program.
It’s been a while but talking for the listener helps me think.
I love this so much.
Then again out in the garden.
While I was in the herb garden, I smelled spring.
Saige, our neighbor’s dog came to say hi.
She was happy too.
Dan came home, and we went inside.
He liked the doctor a lot. They talked like one hour. wow.
I’m glad he likes him.
Dan made us pasta, and we went for a walk.
We met Earl at the mail box.
He stopped his car, and told me “thank you for the Christmas card!”
That was very sweet.
We tried to see the sunset from the school, but there were too many kids and
the sun went under the cloud, so next time.
I got cold in the evening.
Dan made a fire.
While he was talking to his sister,
I took hot bath.
After watched a basketball game,
we watched “Charlie’s Angel”
I love watching beautiful and strong women.
快晴。
コーヒーとレーズンブラン。
夜中に生理が来て、朝からやっぱり痛い。
夫が湯たんぽをつくってくれて、しばらくゆっくり過ごす。
でも横になっているより、土を触っている方がましかもと思い起き上がる。
ちょうど夫がでかけるところだった。
隣町のドクターに初めて会っていろいろ相談するそう。
お庭と、ハーブガーデンをすこし耕していると、痛いのは忘れてしまった。
とはいえ軽めで一度止めて、
裏庭ラジオを録音した。
また久しぶりになってしまったけれど、やっぱり頭の中が整理されるし、
気持ちが静かになってとてもよい時間、わたしにとって。
配信を終えて、またお庭に出る。
ハーブガーデンで作業をしていると、かんぺきな春の匂いがした。
お隣の犬、セージが遊びに来て、挨拶してくれた。
そのうち、夫も帰ってきたので中に入る。
ドクターはとてもいい感じの若いひとで、１時間も話したらしい。
そんなこと、都会ではありえない。
気に入ったみたいでよかった。
パスタをつくってくれて食べ、散歩に出る。
郵便箱のところで、わたしたちに気づいたアールが、
先の方まで車で行ったと思ったら、止まって、
「クリスマスカードをありがとう！」と言ってくれた。
学校まで行って夕陽を見ようとしたけど、雲に隠れてしまったのと、
学生が多いので諦めて帰る。
夕方はさすがに冷え込む。
暖炉に火を入れる。
夫が妹と電話している間にゆっくりお風呂。
夜、夫がバスケットボールを見終わったあと、チャーリーズ・エンジェルの一番新しいのを見る。
素敵な女性がたくさんで楽しかった。
