yuko's diary 3/31/25

Monday.

It was cloudy morning.

I baked 50% rye bread.

I got used to bake it in the mold.

This way, I don’t have to worry so much for rising.

I transplanted few kale seedlings.

And moved boxes that Dan made for me using old window and put some seedling in it.

Some trees are opening leaves.

Apricot tree looks pink from distance.

Almost there, one more month maybe.

We ate avocado toast quickly and went to Dan’s dentist.

Actually I went to the library.

When I walked in, a librarian said “Ms. Weiner!” And got my reserved books.

I was surprised and she said “I’m good at remembering names. Not creepy way!”

Adults including librarians talk in normal voice, but kids were talking in small voice. That was cute.

Back home, I worked in the garden little more, and then started making soup.

Same ingredients as last time, but it turned out little different.

I added soy milk in the end.

We ate it with toasts.

I went back to the 20 minutes workout series.

It was harder than I remembered.

Took quick shower.

We watched baseball and basketball.

I was tired whole day, maybe the weather.

Went to bed early.

月曜日。

薄暗い朝。

昨日仕込んだライ麦パンを焼く。

型の中で焼くのに慣れてきた。

膨らまないかと心配する必要もない。

ケールの苗を少しだけ植え替え。

古い窓枠で夫がつくってくれたボックスを持ち出してきて、苗を移動する。

お庭の木々は少しずつ芽吹いてきた。

アプリコットの花が咲きかけて、遠くから見ると木が全体にピンクっぽくなってきた。

春！と言う感じになるまであとひと月くらいかな。

お昼はアボカドトーストと昨日の残り。

さっと食べて、夫の歯医者へ。

と言ってもわたしはただ同乗して向かいの図書館へ。

入っていくと司書さんが、ミズ·ワイナー！と言って、予約していた本を4冊取り出してくれた。

無言でびっくりしていると、「名前を覚えるの得意なんです、気持ち悪い意味じゃなくて」と。

夫を待つ間しばし読書。

司書さんたちを含め大人は普通に話しているのに、子供たちはヒソヒソと話しているのが可愛かった。

帰宅してもう少しお庭で作業し、スープを仕込む。

こないだと同じ材料のはずなんだけど、また違う感じの味になった。

最後に少し豆乳を。

トーストと食べた。

雨が降ったり止んだりの1日。

苗を植えたところだからちょうどいい。

ワークアウトは元のシリーズに戻って初日から。

覚えていたよりキツかった。

シャワーを浴びる。

野球を見たり、バスケを見たり。

日中なんだかとても疲れていたけれど、天気のせいかなと思う。

早めに就寝。
