yuko's diary 3/26/26

Thursday.

I worked in Brewster today.

It was getting light outside when we were leaving.

It was a full schedule day, but nothing very difficult.

All went well.

There was this 83 year old patient who had severe pain, but likes to joke, and made me laugh a lot.

I want to get old like them.

I went for a long walk after lunch.

It was sunny and felt good.

I got little sweaty but when I stopped moving the air was chilly.

I hopped on the 3pm bus.

And waited for next one in library.

It was quiet there, and two teenagers were talking in hushed voice and were very cute.

The next bus was full.

The scenery was beautiful.

I was so tired when I got home.

I ate red cabbage salad and potato salad.

I did my workout after some rest.

Since I was sleeping when Dan get home whole week, I stayed awake today.

But I was so sleepy when we watched baseball highlights.

木曜日。

今日はブリュースターでの仕事。

6時過ぎに出る頃には空が薄明るい。

予定がたっぷり詰まった日だったけれど、特に難しいスキャンはなく、スムーズに進んでいった。

83歳の患者さん、痛みが強いけれど、冗談好きな人で、たくさん笑わせてくれた。

わたしもこういうふうに歳を取りたい。

お昼の後歩きに出る。

快晴で気持ちがいい。

歩いていると汗ばむけど、止まると一気に冷えるくらいには空気が冷たい。

3時のバスに飛び乗って帰路へ。

図書館で本を読んで1時間過ごす。

今日は比較的静かで、ティーンの女の子たちがコソコソ真剣に話していてかわいかった。

帰りのバスは満員。

今日も車窓がきれいだった。

帰宅したらへとへと。

ポテトサラダと、紫キャベツのナムルで晩ごはん。

しばらく休んでからワークアウトした。

今週は夫が帰宅するときにいつも寝ていたので、今日はがんばって起きていた。

その後おしゃべりして野球のハイライトを見る頃には眠くて眠くてたまらなかった。
