yuko's diary 3/20/25

Thursday.

Spring equinox, but still cold.

I started new sandwich bread.

It has olive oil and sugar.

It didn’t rise much, but oh well.

I cleaned the house and did laundry.

I went out to check my garden.

Moved onion seedlings into outside box.

They will move to outside soon.

Dan made BLT sandwiches for lunch.

Using my little bread.

Then we went for a walk.

I had to return my library books, and the construction was happening quick.

They removed asphalt in front of the hospital over night.

Wow.

The old police station by the library is gone too.

I started rye bread.

Went out to the garden and spread compost around the garlic.

It was windy but sun was out and so are birds.

I made bolognese sauce for dinner.

Used al vegetables we got.

As we had small lunch, we ate dinner early.

I started new workout series.

It is the hardest one.

Today I had to 100 squats thrusters.

It was hard, but manageable so far.

We watched two more episodes.

It was hard to watch and Dan was joking that we should go back to the comedy.

The first one was the boy and his psychiatrist, and how the actor keep going on those long shot was crazy.

Especially the boy was so good.

The second episodes was about his family, and it was hard to watch.

木曜日。

春分だけれど、今日も肌寒い。

朝から初めてつくる食パンを仕込む。

オリーブオイルと砂糖が少し入るけれど、あとは同じような手順。

あんまり膨らまず。うーん。結果は明日わかる。

洗濯を回して掃除。

お庭の様子を見てまわる。

台所の窓辺で育てていたタマネギの苗を外のボックスへ移動。

来月には外に植えるので慣れてもらうため。

お昼はBLTサンドイッチを夫がつくってくれた。

パンが端っこの方で小さいので、ひとりにつきふたつずつ。

それから散歩へ。

図書館に本の返却に行き、コープへ。

病院の前の道路の工事がぐんと進んでいた。

昨日はあったアスファルトが全部剥がされている。

図書館横の古い交番？も壊されてしまった。

どんどん進むなぁ。

帰宅後、ライ麦パンも仕込む。

こちらはもう慣れてきた。

お庭に出て、ニンニクの芽の周りにコンポストを撒いていく。

マルチを被せ直して出来上がり。

風は強いけれど、太陽も出てきて、鳥が鳴いていてとても気持ちよかった。

少しずつお庭の作業が始まっていく。

夜ご飯にボロネーゼソースをつくる。

ニンニク、タマネギ、ニンジン、紫キャベツを炒め、トマトソースを追加。

煮込んでから大豆ミートを足して出来上がり。

お昼が早かったので、早めに食べた。

ワークアウト、今日から別のシリーズに。

一番きついと同僚から聞いていたもの。

今日はスクワットの強化版みたいなのを100回。

確かにきつかったけれど、ダンベルを軽いものに変えたらなんとかできた。

今日も2話観る。

間に休憩が必要なくらいすごく迫力がある。

3話目はカウンセラーと少年の対話、4話目は家族のその後。

とにかく少年の演技がすごい。長回しのシーンが多いし、早口で喋るし、表情もガラッと変わるし。

夫が、元のコメディに戻ろうかと、何回か言うほど、観るのに体力を使う作品。
