Saturday.

Today marks one year on Duolingo.

Spanish was something so foreign to me, but now I can catch few words.

And that made a big difference.

I had coffee and yogurt.

I changed and worked in the trailer.

Then I went out to continue cleaning the rows.

Dan made us breakfast tacos.

I love this food very much.

We stopped eating before we were too full and went to play basketball.

There were some boys playing in the park, so we went to high school.

I wore Nike high top that Dan bought for me.

It was fun, but I jammed my pinky finger when I continued playing without my cap.

I couldn’t see well with my hair in my eye, and hit the ball weirdly.

Ouch.

Back home, I iced it.

It’s not broken though, it might chipped.

I received seeds and there was also seeds mix for deer resistant wild flower.

Yes!

I asked Dan to help me scatter the seeds.

It was easy and fun.

Hope it will work.

I also received plastic container, and made some holes.

I use these as a small green house.

It was still sunny and I kept working outside.

When I felt that the temperature dropped, I realized sun went down over the mountain.

It was a big change. And somehow beautiful. 

The day is over now.

Dan made us quesadillas and it was great.

I iced my finger some more and went to bed early.

土曜日。

今日で毎日コツコツ続けたアプリのスペイン語が丸一年！

全く意味のわからない言語から、少しでも単語が拾えるようになってうれしい。

文法はほぼ英語と同じ、だけど疑問文が、普通の文に？をつけるだけ、というのも知らなかった。

ゆっくり起きてコーヒー、ヨーグルト。

着替えてから種まきの準備。

今日トマトの種が届くはずで、それをすぐに蒔けるようにしておいた。

外に出て畝の片付け。

去年のケールがいくつか生き延びていたけれど、2年目のケールは食べるには硬すぎるので、種取り用にいくつか残して片付けてしまう。

お昼は夫が作ってくれたブレックファストタコス。

何回食べてもおいしい。

お腹いっぱいで動けなくなる前に止めて、消化してからバスケしに行く。

最近行っていた公園には先客がいたので、ひさしぶりに高校へ。

夫が買ってくれた新しい真っ白な靴を履いていく。

Nikeのハイトップ。

楽しく遊んでいたけれど、キャップが落ちて前が見えないまま続行したら、ボールが見えなくて小指を突き指してしまった。

なかなか痛い。いつかやるかなと思っていたけれど。

帰宅後冷やしておく。

動くので折れてはいないと判断。

郵便箱をのぞくと、種が届いていた。

お庭に撒くようの、シカが苦手なワイルドフラワーの種も。

早速夫と一緒にガーデンボックスの周りに撒いた。

それからトマトの種を室内に。その後、一緒に届いたプラスチックの衣装ケースに空気穴を開ける。

小さなビニールハウス代わり。

発芽したトマト、ペッパー類を入れて、寒いトレイラーで育ててみる。日中は外に出してもいいかも。

ずーっといい天気で、夕方も外で作業していた。

すっと気温が落ちた、と思って顔を上げるとちょうど太陽が山の向こうに沈んだ瞬間だった。

こんなにはっきりわかるものだっけ。

なんだか感動的だった。

夜もケーサディーヤを作ってくれて、今日は一日メキシカンだった。

指を冷やしつつのんびりして早めに寝たと思う。
