In the bed, I was scrolling Twitter feed, and found that there was a big earthquake in Tohoku.
It must be so scary.
The same season as 11 years ago.
Today makes one year anniversary of Atlanta shooting.
What a morning.
I had coffee.
It was sunny day.
I couldn’t find sun screen in the town, but Dan found me an old one so I used it.
I went outside and finished expanding the second garden.
And started making the furrows.
That was harder than I thought.
I took several breaks today.
It is getting warm, there’re small bugs flying, and I knew it will be summer soon.
Dan went to get sandwiches for lunch.
Then after a little break, I started collecting the sods and brought to the edge of the property with wheelbarrow.
It was feeling good to see cleared space.
Also the temperature had dropped and that was helping.
Last year I did all this in June.
Which is insane.
We made frozen dumplings from co-op for dinner.
On top of white rice with vegetables.
Very good.
I was so tired but couldn't sleep early.
朝、お布団の中で携帯を見ていたら、数時間前に東北で大きな地震があったみたいだった。
わー、こわかっただろう。
おしゃべりで気を紛らわせたいひとがいるかもしれない、と思いインスタのストーリーズで呼びかける。
今日はそして、アトランタの事件から１年だ。
英語ではアニバーサリー。アニバーサリーってうれしい記念日にだけ使うのかと思っていた。
起きてコーヒー。
今日はいい天気。
町では日焼け止めがまだ売ってなくて、古いものを洗面台で見つけたので、それを塗る。
外に出て、二つ目のお庭の拡張を終えて、畝をつくっていった。
これがけっこうきつい。
今日は数回休憩を入れた。
気温が上がっていて、小さな羽虫も飛んでいて、ああ、ここから暑くなっていくんだとはっきりわかった。
夫がコープで買ってきてくれたサンドウィッチを食べて、
また少し休憩。
それから、掘り返した表土を集めて、一輪車で庭の端に運ぶ作業をした。
どんどんすっきりしていくので気持ちがいい。
気温もぐっと下がって体が楽だ。
去年は６月に耕していたのだから、かなり無理したんだなとわかる。
夜は、コープで見つけて買っておいたオーガニックの冷凍餃子を焼く。
ごはんの上に野菜と乗せて食べた。おいしい～
疲れていたのに、あまり早く眠れず。
