It was cloudy day.
A hard knock woke us up.
It was Paul who works in the sow mill asking some water.
He said we can take sow dust from there.
Coffee, bagel.
I knew it will be raining later today, so I wanted to finish work before that.
I started off with herb garden.
Transplant two more pots.
Then I transplanted chamomile where they grow too close.
Then I finished the third compost.
We might need one more before the summer.
I worked on the second garden.
It was windy, and I could tell the storm is coming.
Here, I dug some ash, woods, and charcoals.
Leftover from the people lived and burned things here.
Last year, I planted flowers on top.
But this year, I will try vegetable.
It might take years to be a good soil.
Dan came to help me and we worked until rain started.
Back inside, I transplanted lemon mint and celery baby seedlings into small pots.
I will grow them by the kitchen window.
Dan made salmon, kale, and rice.
It was very good.
We watched 2019 Terminator.
I liked this one very much.
Sarah Corner was so good.
After Dan went to sleep, I googled how to plant berries.
Ended up buying two more blueberries.
くもりの朝。
はっきりしたノックで起きる。
となりの木工所をつかっている、ポールだった。
水道を借りにきたのだ。
おがくず、いくらでも持っていっていいよ、ガーデンをやっているのが見えたからと。
今日は午後から雨と聞いていたので、その前に作業をしてしまうつもりにしていた。
コーヒー、ベーグル。
まずハーブガーデンにさらに植え替えを。
キッチンの植木鉢ふたつ分。
密集していたカモミールも離して植え替える。
それからコンポストを完成させた。
夏になる前にもうひとつ作っておこう。
その後は二つ目のお庭をひたすら耕していた。
風が強くなってきて、嵐が来るのがわかる。
掘っていくと、前の住人が燃やした木材の残りや、炭、灰が出て来る。
そうだった。去年はお花を植えたりしていたけれど、
ことしは平にならしてみた。どうなるかな。
数年かけていい土になっていけばいいと思う。
夫も出てきて、いっしょに雨が降るまで作業していた。
それから、空いた植木鉢に、発芽したセロリと、レモンミントを植え替える。
窓際でしばらく育てる。
お昼というか、夕飯はサーモン、ケール、ごはん。
夫がつくってくれた。
おいしい。
夜は２０１９年のターミネーターを見た。
気になるところがいいふうにアップデートされていて、ほっとした。
サラ・コナーはかっこよすぎる。
夫が寝てから、次に届く予定のベリー類の植え方を検索する。
そしてなぜかブルーベリーをさらに二本購入してしまった。
