Woke up slowly.
I could tell it was sunny from the bed.
Coffee, yogurt, and half bagel.
It was the beginning of the summer time.
We didn’t realized that until evening.
I worked little on the zine.
Then I put plants outside, and myself.
I have many small pots on the windowsill of the kitchen.
One of them has grown so lively, so today I pull them out and
the roots was crazy.
I disentangle them and planted out in the herb garden.
Yomogi, German chamomile, yallow, valerian, lemon balm, hyssop, feverfew, sage...
There is one green which I couldn’t tell the name, but most likely some kind of lettuce.
So I planted that one in the main garden.
Then I dug the very first compost I made.
It’s been 6 month, and I could find many corns. And egg shells.
But other things turned to the black soil. wow.
I put them in a bucket, and brought to the garden.
Also I started digging the third compost.
I also busted some sod in the second garden.
Dan came out and helped me.
He also made ramen for lunch.
We were planning to watch NBA, but it was bad game.
Instead we watched SNL.
ゆっくり起きる。
すごく晴れているのがおふとんの中にいてもわかる。
コーヒーと、ベーグル半分と、ヨーグルト。
今日から夏時間で、つまり今日は１日が２３時間しかないのだけど、
夕方までぜんぜん気づかなかった。
zineのことをすこしして、植物を外に出し、わたしも外に出る。
室内で育てていたハーブの一部をハーブガーデンに植え替えた。
キッチンの窓辺に並べていた鉢植えの中のひとつが、やたら育っていて、
植木鉢から出してみたら、根っこがすごいことに！
ほぐして、植え替える。
もうひとつ、こちらはあまり育っていないけど、ためしに植えてみる。
よもぎ、ジャーマンカモミール、ヤロウ、ヴァレリアン、レモンバーム、ヒソップ、フィーバーヒュー、セージなどなど。
ひとつ、なぞなのがあって、たぶんレタス類だろうと思うのでメインのお庭の方に植えておいた。
それから、コンポストを掘り返してみる。
移住してきて真っ先につくったもののひとつ。
とうもろこしの芯と卵のカラがたくさん出てきたけれど、それ以外は黒い土になっていて感動した。
すごい、ちゃんとできた！
バケツにつめて、お庭に撒いていく。
冬の間のコンポストはそろそろいっぱいなので、三つ目の穴も掘りはじめる。
穴掘りに疲れたら、移動して二つ目のお庭の表土を剥がしたり。
夫も出てきてたくさん手伝ってくれた。
お昼のラーメンもつくってくれる。
夕方、見ようと思っていたバスケの試合は期待が外れたらしい。
昨日のサタデーナイトライブを見たり、のんびりしてすごした。
