yuko's diary 3/11/26

Wednesday.

I went for work.

When I got there, the scan was already started.

The patient was doctor but I wasn’t nervous and did a successful IV.

I’d be nervous if it was a nurse. They are the one who does IVs.

When I went to the waiting room to get my patient, I saw Yoko san was sitting there.

I could only say good morning, and had to go with my patient.

I went for a walk after lunch.

It was cloudy and windy and chilly.

We had time in the afternoon, but it was raining and I couldn’t go for a walk.

I read my book.

I worked until 4, and walked home.

I told Dan to eat up soup, but as I expected, he left some for me.

It was nice to eat a quick dinner though.

After that, I started cooking soup.

With this cold weather, we need some soup.

Today is potato soup.

I watched Dominican Republic vs Venezuela, and followed Italy and Mexico.

I wanted Mexico to win, but they didn’t play well.

I love watching DR. They will win this time, I think.

I was busy with baseball, but did my workout too.

Outside was so windy again.

I tried to go to sleep before Dan comes home, but the wind scared me.

We both had hard time to sleep.

水曜日。

今日も仕事へ。

着いたらもうスキャンが始まっていた。

患者さんはドクターで、でも緊張せずにIV成功したので同僚が褒めてくれた。

正直、ナースの方が緊張すると思う。ドクターはみんなIV上手いわけじゃないし。

待合室に患者さんを迎えにいったら、先日会った洋子さんがパートナーさんと座っていた。

びっくり、挨拶する。

MRIではなかったのであまりお話しできなかった。

お昼の後でさっと歩きに出る。

風が出て曇っていて寒い。

午後は時間があったのだけど、雨で歩くのは無理。読書を進めた。

4時に終わって歩いて帰宅。

ワンタンスープ、食べ切ってねと夫に言っておいたのに、やっぱりわたしの分残してある。

お腹が空いていたのでありがたかったけれど。

食べ終わってから今日もスープを仕込む。

気温が下がるとやっぱり恋しくなる。

今日は豆乳ポテトスープ。

イタリアとメキシコの試合を追いかけながら、ドミニカ共和国とヴェネズエラの試合を見る。

メキシコに勝ってほしかったけれど、どうにも振るわない。

ドミニカ共和国は勢いも気合もすごくて、見ていて最高に楽しい。

今回優勝するんじゃないかな。

野球で忙しくて遅くなったけれど、ワークアウトもちゃんとこなした。

外は大風。

夫が帰ってくる前に寝ようとしたけれど、風の音がすごくてこわい。

夫もわたしも寝つくまでに時間がかかった。
