Tuesday.

It was still dark when I woke up at 6.

I got ready and went for work.

There were cancellations and add-on, but it went smooth.

I got a walk in the lunch time.

The sun was warm and I got almost sweaty walking, but then quickly got cold again.

The last patient was Spanish only and their partner speaks little English.

They asked me “paperwork” and I thought it means they need a proof to be at hospital.

But then I figured out they were talking about doctor’s note.

Speaking in broken English is fun.

It reminded me of my time in NY.

I was done by 4, and and stopped at co-op.

It was windy again, and I was freezing.

Saige was outside and laying down in the shade.

She doesn’t care of the cold.

While watching baseball, I made wonton soup.

But as I ate red cabbage salad, I got too full to eat the soup.

After some rest, I did my workout.

Dan is working later shift today.

We talked over phone during his break.

He sounded fine, except his cough.

Team USA was losing to Italy 8-0!!!

It got really close, but they won!

Hahahaha, I love it.

They are entitled and not fun.

There is a chance that they can be eliminated. Hahahahaha

I was sleeping when Dan came home.

火曜日。

6時に起きたらまだ真っ暗で寒い。

準備して仕事へ。

キャンセルや追加で変更はありつつも、そこまで混乱せずに進んでいった。

お昼休みには歩きに出る。

陽射しは暖かく、コートを着て歩くと汗ばむくらい。でも寒い。

スペイン語オンリーの患者さんと、英語を少し話すパートナーさん。

仕事先に出す書類が欲しいと言われて、用意して渡したらどうも違うみたい。

よくよく聞いて、主治医に書いてもらう書類のことだとわかったので、その旨伝える。

お互い訛りのある英語で、限られた単語を用いてなんとかわかりあおうとするのが好き。

NYにいた頃は、毎日のようにしていたやりとりで懐かしい。

4時に上がって、コープに寄って帰る。

風がまた出てきて、寒い〜と叫びながら歩く。

セージは外にいて、しかも木陰に寝そべっていた。

本当に寒さは気にならないんだな。

野球中継を見ながら、ワンタンスープをつくる。

煮込んでいる間に紫キャベツのナムルを食べたら、全然食べられなかったけれど、まぁいいや。

しばらく休んでからワークアウト。

夫は今日、仕事のシフトがいつもと2時間ずれて遅くなる。

休憩時間に電話で話したけれど、思ったより元気そう。咳が気になる。

イタリアがチームUSAに8−0で勝ってる！

最後追いつかれつつも逃げ切って、最高だった。

まさかイタリアがやってくれるとは。

アメリカ、一回戦敗退の可能性も出てきた。あはは。

やる気も、楽しもうという雰囲気もない。

他のチームとの差が原因だと思う。

夫が帰る前におふとんへ。
