yuko's diary 3/1/24

Friday.

I woke up late, and had coffee and yogurt.

Then finished the homepage which I’ve been working for a month.

It is finally done.

But I had a great time working on this one.

The scab came off, and I found a thread coming out of the skin.

It looked so weird.

This thread is supposed to be melting, hmm.

I changed and went outside.

To take down the broken fence.

Using a drill and removing screws.

Dan came to help me.

Then I worked by myself for long time.

It was hard work.

I couldn’t finish it, but too tired to continue.

Dan was making my sun box, but stopped and made us breakfast burrito.

I had my dal too.

We had to take a nap.

Then we woke up and went to play basketball.

It looked like raining soon, so we drove to the park with basket.

It started raining as soon as we started playing.

So we stayed only 15 minutes or so.

Back home, while we were resting, it turned to a heavy watery snow.

Oh no…

I needed to wait longer.

Instead, I did some research on deer protection.

I don’t know yet, but I will try to make it easy and simple.

I made ramen with kale and ham.

When we finished eating, Dan’s sister called him.

We talked a lot about everything.

I guess we stayed up late.

It was a good day.

金曜日。

夫が金曜休みなのはひさしぶり。

ゆっくり起きて、コーヒー、バナナ入りのヨーグルト。

そのままホームページの仕上げと公開。

約ひと月の濃密な時間もこれでひと段落。

今回もとても楽しくできた。

瘡蓋が取れてきた。

それはいいのだけど、瘡蓋の下から、糸が2本出てきた。

皮膚からにょきっと何かが出ているというのは不思議な光景だ。

水で溶けるはずなのでそっとしておくことに。

着替えて外へ。

大風で倒れた柵の片付け。

ドリルでネジを外していく。

途中で夫も手伝ってくれた。

まだ立っているところももう安全ではないので解体しなければならない。

安全に外せるところからひとつずつ。

結構な労働量で、角を残しておおかた解体できたものの、かなり疲れた。

セージがうろちょろしていたけれど、作業中はあんまり構えなくて、そうすると飽きて帰っていく。

夫は追加のサンボックスをつくってくれていたけれど、リクエストに答えて、ブレックファストブリトーをつくってくれた。

残りのダールもいただく。

食後すっかり疲れてお昼寝。

3時過ぎに起きて、バスケしに行こう、となる。

でもかなりすごく雨が降りそうだったので、車で公園まで。

ここにバスケットがあったなと思っていくと、ちゃんとネットもついたものがあった。

雨が本格的に降り出すまでの10分くらい、シュート練習して遊んだ。

帰宅してのんびりしていたら、外はぼた雪に変わっていた。えー！！

柵の解体の続きをしたり、お庭で作業したかったのに、まだだめみたい。

これを機にしっかりした柵を建ててもいいんだけど、まだ時間があるし、柵の代わりになるものを色々調べてみる。

主にシカがトマトを食べるのを防ぐのが目的なので、トマトの周りにハーブやネギ類を植えたりもしようと思う。

お腹が空いてきて、ラーメンをつくる。

ハムとケール入り。

食べ終わる頃に夫の妹から電話。

3人で長電話。

実写版の幽遊白書を見たとのこと。あはは、彼女から幽遊白書という単語が出ることがおかしくて笑った。言えてなかったけど。

その後もダラダラして夜更かししてしまった。
