Wednesday.

Before I went for work, I finished my book.

It was beautiful.

I heard that they will make movie adaptation, but I don’t know how.

I’m afraid that they lost important part of this book.

I wish they will make movie of the other book.

We didn’t have much patient scheduled, so I read safety manual.

It was boring but I forced myself to read whole morning.

Then I switched my other book in the afternoon.

This character I didn’t like got a big blow from his ex, and it was really good.

I love reading books.

After whole day and we cleaned up and everything, we got a phone call.

There was this order put it in at 11 am, somehow came to us now.

So we got another scan.

It was this old guy and his arm was covered with old fashioned tattoo.

So my colleague asked if he was in army, and he said it was navy.

He said to my colleague that “when will I see you again?”

And shared my hands.

He said “the south part of Korea just looks like here in Okanogan county.”

I got ride home.

It was almost 5:30.

Dan left me some pasta salad for dinner, and it was very nice of him.

I did my workout.

Then I started cooking chili.

I soaked kidney beans and started tomato based soup.

After cooking beans, I combined them and put into slow cooker.

I wanted to put pumpkins but it will be too thick to cook overnight.

While cooking, I read my book.

It’s been little boring reading about those white English people but then it got interesting.

I hope it will end in a good way.

Dan came home and we talked while.

We went to bed little late.

水曜日。

仕事まえに、最後の数ページを読み終わる。

とてもよかった。

映画化するらしいけれど、こんな詩的な本をどうやって、と思う。

物語にしてしまうことでこぼれるものが多そうだけどな。

個人的には前回読んだ本の方を映画化してほしい。

予定は少なかったので、仕事関係の書類を読む。

つまらなくて眠ってしまいそうだけど、がんばって午前中は読み続けた。

午後はまた図書館の本を読む。

いけすかないなと思っていたキャラクターが、元パートナーに徹底的に心理的に落とされるところで、おおおとなった。

やっぱり読書はたのしい。

一日こなして、片付けも終わって、さ、帰ろうという時に電話。

11時に出ていたオーダーがようやく回ってきたとかなんとかで、そこから1件スキャンする。

まるでポパイみたいな古いタトゥーがいっぱいの腕のおじいさんで、同僚が尋ねるとやっぱり元海軍だった。

終わった後、同僚に、「次はいつお目にかかれるかな？」と言っていてかわいらしかった。

わたしの手も握って握手してくれた。

「韓国の南の方は、まるでこのオカノガン郡みたいだったよ」とのこと。

送ってもらって5時半ごろ帰宅。

夫がお昼に作ったパスタサラダの残りを置いておいてくれたのでありがたくいただく。

ワークアウト。

それからチリづくりに取り掛かる。

キドニービーンを水につけて、横でスープを仕込む。トマトベースのスープ。

カボチャをローストして入れたいけれど、煮込んでいる間に焦げそうだな。

豆を茹でてからスープに投入し、スロークッカーを出してきて全部入れる。

合間に本を読んだ。

物語も大詰めでおもしろい。

白人の英国人ばかりでおもんないなと思いながら、文章のうまさに釣られて読んできたけれど、ここで元が取れそう？だ。

夫が帰宅して、少しおしゃべり。

おふとんに入るのは少し遅くなった
