yuko's diary 2/28/26

Saturday.

It was a beautiful sunny day.

We slept in, then I started all three kinds of bread.

I did laundry and went out to work in garden.

I did lots of pruning today too.

Did some weeding.

I hanged laundry outside.

Ah how nice!

Dan made fish tacos for lunch.

It was very good.

We took a short nap and went for a walk.

We climbed up to the school, and walked around the truck once.

Then went to the co-op and community center.

A stuff asked me to update their website.

Back home, I baked one by one.

Then made dinner.

Tofu steak, kale, broccoli, and brown rice.

We watched a movie.

“The Seventh Seal” (1957) by Ingmar Bergman.

A knight met the death and they played chess together.

It was serious and funny, interesting film.

土曜日。

今日もおやすみ。外は快晴！

たっぷり寝坊して起きる。

それからパン生地を全種類仕込んだ。

洗濯を回してお庭へ。

今日も剪定の続き。

草引きもする。

洗濯物を外に干す。

あああ、ひさしぶり！すごく爽快な気分。

お昼は夫が昨日の残りでフィッシュタコスをつくってくれた。

おいしい〜。

少しお昼寝してから散歩に出る。

学校まで歩いて行って、トラックを1周する。

それからコープによってコミュニティセンターにも寄った。

スタッフがいて、ホームページの改訂のことを相談される。

帰宅して、そこからひたすらパンを焼く。

そのまま晩ごはんづくりに移行。

豆腐ステーキ、ケール、ブロッコリー、玄米ごはん。

夜は映画。

『第七の封印』監督はイングマール・ベイルマン、1957年作。

スェーデンの十字軍の騎士が死神と出会う話。

シリアスだと思ったら、コミカルになったり、なんだか不思議な感じだったけれど、思ったよりはおもしろかった。
