yuko's diary 2/25/24

Sunday.

I couldn’t sleep well. 

Couldn’t wake up in a good mood.

Started moving by 9.

Dan went to get cappuccino again.

Then he made a big breakfast or branch.

Ham, toast, eggs, and salad.

It’s been a while to eat this big in the morning.

I went out to finish compost hole.

Dan came to help me, but it was hard.

It also became too rocky in the bottom, so I stopped.

Put branches, and that’s it. New compost hole is done.

I was so tired and had to have a break.

Dan was making a new sun box for me.

We had a nap together.

It was still very windy.

I was listening to the wind.

Then we went to the high school to play basketball.

The wind was cray up there.

But we played 40 minutes or so.

We had to stop because we were thirsty.

Back home, went to grocery shopping.

Almost everywhere is closed already.

Dan made breakfast Brito.

It was really good and big, I could only eat one and half.

We did stretching, and went to bed early.

The wind was still very strong.

日曜日。

あまり眠れず、スッキリ起きられず。

9時過ぎに動き出す。

またカプチーノを買ってきてくれて、それから豪勢なブランチをつくってくれた。

ハム、トースト、目玉焼き二つ、サラダ付き。

ひさしぶりに午前からしっかり食べた。

外へ出てコンポストの穴掘り。

深い穴から土をかき出すのがとっても大変。

しかも深いほど砂と石になる。夫も少し手伝ってくれた。

もう掘っても石ばかりになって諦める。

細かく折った枯れ枝を敷いて、コンポストの出来上がり。

暖かい時期は土と交互に入れないと虫が湧くので、これじゃ足りないだろうなと思いつつ。

次の穴を早めに掘ろう。

グッと疲れてちょっと休憩。

夫は新しいサンボックスを作ってくれていた。

その後2人でお昼寝。

外はとってもいい天気だけれど、風がとても強い。

風の音を聴きながらグーっと眠った。

2時過ぎに起きてバスケをしにいく。

学校は丘の上にあるのでさらに風が強い。

レイアップシュートの練習をして、低いバスケットでダンクの真似もした。

40分くらい遊んでいたと思う。

喉が渇いて終了。

帰宅後、また買い出しへ。

4時でコープもホームセンターも閉まっていた。

そうだ、日曜は早いんだった。

夜ご飯はブレックファストブリトー。

スクランブルエッグ、マッシュポテト、サワークリーム、パクチー、サルサ、チーズと盛りだくさんのブリトー。

一つと半分でお腹いっぱい。

ちょっとストレッチして、早めに就寝。

風は2日間吹き続けた。

これが日本で言うところの春一番なのかな。確かに冬の間はここまでの強風はなかったな。
