Tuesday.

Work day.

After Dan left for work, I worked on homepage a little, and left too.

It was a full schedule day. 

But there was a cancellation and I could read a book.

“Tone” by Kate Zambreno and another author.

It’s about tone of literature and I had to concentrate to read.

I’ve been reading stories, so it was nice change.

My lunch was diced steak which Dan packed.

Very good.

A patient asked me that if I worked at a hospital in Wyoming.

Haha.

There are so many kinds of people, and I love knowing them a little.

I was done little past 4, and Dan came to pick me up.

At home, Saige came running after the car.

I knew that Dan gave her cookies and so I just walked with her.

She came back and asked for cookie, so I talked her.

She laid down on porch as if she doesn’t want to leave.

We had ramen for dinner.

I put lots of kale on top.

Dan was caulking the kitchen molding.

So I helped him.

We went to bed early.

火曜日。

今日はお仕事の日。

夫を見送って、少しだけホームページの作業をして、出発。

今日はまぁまぁ予定が詰まっていて忙しい。

でも変更があったり、キャンセルもありで、本も読めた。

ケイト・ザンブレノが共著で出している、”Tone” という本。

文学作品の、いわゆるトーンについて考えるもので、なかなか集中しないと読めない感じだ。

しばらく物語が続いていたのでちょうどいいかもしれない。

お昼ご飯は昨日のステーキを夫がサイコロステーキに切り直して弁当箱に詰めてくれたもの。

おいしく食べた。

患者さんに、「以前ワイオミングの病院で働いてなかった？」と聞かれておかしかった。

いろんな人がいて、毎回少しだけその人を知る。

それがやっぱり楽しいのかもしれないな。

4時過ぎに終わって、夫に迎えにきてもらう。

家に着いたら、セージが車を追いかけてきた。この感じ、ひさしぶり。

すでに一度帰宅していた夫がクッキーをあげたので、一緒に散歩して、たくさん撫でた。

一度どこかに行った後戻ってきて、玄関でクッキー欲しいと言うので、説得して、またたくさん撫でていたら、寝そべってしまった。

あらま。家に帰りたくないの？

好きなだけいていいよ、と言ってドアを閉める。

晩ごはんはラーメン。

ケールを炒めてたっぷり入れる。キムチも。

おいし。

なぜか夫が台所のコーキングに取り掛かったので少し手伝う。

隙間風や、アリが入ってこないようにするため。

夜は早めの就寝。
