Wednesday is the day I got a ride to work.
We left little early.
They could get only pads from the scrapyard.
We wiped everything down.
As we have Jolee with us, it was easier.
She is a quick leaner and smart, also has experience.
But she had to go through rather long training.
I guess they want her to see all sorts of trouble before she starts by herself.
22, shorter than me.
I’m afraid that she’ll have hard time to deal with grouchy old and big men.
I already have several experiences that someone is complaining to me and receptionist,
but would be calm and reasonable to Rich or Josh.
But she’ll be fine.
She’s a rodeo girl.
By the way, the rate that people with horses is really high here.
They talk as if they have many cats.
It’s really different.
As the last patient was rescheduled, I left early.
The sun was out.
I stopped at co-op.
Dan came home very tired.
I made ramen with plant based sausage and cabbage.
The stars were so clear tonight.
We did stretching and talked a lot.
We ate mango that Dan brought home with him.
Very good.
I kept talking about being immigrant and he listened to me.
水曜日は送ってもらえる日。
少し早めに出る。
結局バンからは、パッドを少ししか取ってこられなかったそう。
きれいに拭き取って収納する。
今日もジョリーと3人体制なのでとても余裕がある。
ジョリーは覚えも早くて、他のところで働いた経験もあるから、すぐにでもひとりでできそうだけれど、しばらくここを含めたサイトを回るそう。
たぶんそうやって、いろんな状況に対応できるようにするのだろう。
22歳、わたしより8センチくらい背が低い。
この先、でかくて混乱しているおじいさんとかへの対応が大変かもしれないな、と思う。
わたしや受付にはぶつぶつ言う人が、男性で声の大きいジョシュには大人しくなる、というパターンはよくある。
でもきっと大丈夫、ジョリーはロデオをするらしいし。
ちなみにここの人たちの馬を飼っている率は異常。
猫の話でもするかのように、今8匹いるの、とか言っている。
最後の人が予約変更になったので、歩いて帰る。
太陽が出ていて気持ちがいい。
コープによって帰った。
夫はとても疲れて帰宅。
買ってきた植物性のソーセージとキャベツでラーメンにする。
夜、星がよく見える。
ちょっと町を離れたらもっと見えるだろうな。
ストレッチをしながらおしゃべりしたり、夫がもらってきたマンゴーを食べたりした。
お布団に入ってから、なんだかスイッチが入っていろいろ話を聞いてもらった。
