yuko's diary 2/14/26

Saturday.

It was hard to get up.

I did laundry, and went outside.

It was cloudy but not as cold as yesterday.

I moved to next place, and continued working on edges.

This place was soft and no rocks, it was easy.

Dan made fish tacos using yesterday’s mahi mahi.

With cheese, guacamole, salsa, red cabbage, and cilantro.

It was very good.

We took some break, and went outside again.

Next place was full of alfalfa roots, and rocks, and it was much harder.

But this is the last place. It should be.

The sun came out and it felt good.

I made myself wore out.

Went inside, and lay down on the floor for a while.

I boiled and baked bagels.

Then we made dinner together.

Pasta salad.

With lots of tomatoes.

Then we watched another movie.

“Francis Ha” (2012)

Greta Gerwig was the main character.

Young people’s life in NY.

It was a good weekend.

今日もお休み。

なかなか起き上がれなかった。

洗濯を回して、外へ。

曇っているけれど昨日より心持ち暖かいような。

場所を変えてエッジの作業。

ここは石もなくて、土も柔らかくてすいすい進んだ。

お昼は夫が昨日のマヒマヒを使ってフィッシュタコスをつくってくれた。

チーズ、ワカモレ、サルサ、紫キャベツ、パクチーが入っている。

うーん、おいしい。

午後少し休んでからまた外へ。

次の場所は石も多いし、アルファルファのしぶとい根っこも多くて苦戦する。

でもエッジの作業はこれで終わりのはずだから、もう後すこし。

太陽も少し出てきて、気持ちいい。

ちょっとがんばりすぎてくたくたになった。

3時半ごろ引き上げて、しばらく床に寝転がって休む。

ベーグルを茹でて焼く。

それから夕飯を一緒につくる。

パスタサラダ。

トマトをたっぷり入れた。

夜はまた映画。

グレタ・ガーウィグが主演。

NYの若者の感じ、懐かしい。

良い週末だった。
