Sunday.
I woke up late and had coffee.
I thought I saw snow in the midnight, and it was.
It was still snowing in the morning.
Big heavy, watery snow.
The bleeding hadn’t stopped.
I took shower, cleaned the area, and put anti-biotic medicine.
I need to ice today too.
Dan made bacon, fried eggs, English muffin.
The snow had finally stopped and now melting quickly.
We went to get some grocery and I got soup at co-op.
Feeling good soup with turmeric. Nice.
Dan made quesadillas.
We talked Dan’s friend over the phone.
And the super bowl.
I have no interests, and I was sleepy, so I just lay down while Dan was watching the game.
Long game.
By the half time, I saw the news about Rafah.
Israeli army started bombing people in Rafah.
While American is watching super bowl.
Last temporarily cease fire was during thanksgiving.
What the fuck.
It made me so sick.
I made rice, and Dan made kale and chicken breast.
I changed the gauge at night.
My body is trying to heal.
I am lucky to be here, or not.
日曜日。
のんびり起きてコーヒー。
夜中に起きた時、地面が白いなと思ったらボタ雪。
朝になっても降っていた。水分が多くて重い感じの雪。
出血がなかなか止まらないなと思っていたら、膿も少し出てきたし、治りかけでかゆい。
シャワーを浴びてきれいに洗う。
それから手当。
今日もおとなしくアイシングすることにした。
ベーコンと目玉焼き、イングリッシュマフィンの朝ごはんを夫がつくってくれる。
雪はもう止んで、どんどん溶け始めた。
お昼は買い出しに出て、コープの日替わりスープを買う。
ターメリック入りのフィールグッドスープだって。ピッタリ。
夫はケーサディーヤをつくって食べていた。
夫の友達と長電話して、のんびりした午後。
3時過ぎから、アメフトの決勝戦、いわゆるスーパーボウル。
わたしは全然興味がないし、スープ食べたら眠くって、観戦する夫の横でうとうとしていた。
長い長い試合。
前半が終わった頃、イスラエルがラファを攻撃し始めたと知る。
ラファはエジプトとの国境にある砂漠の町で、ここに逃げろと言われた人たちが避難している場所。
アメリカ人がスーパーボウルを見ているタイミングでの攻撃。
去年の一次停戦はアメリカの祝日と同時期だった。
ゾッとするし、この世界観の差にクラクラする。
祈ることしかできない。
ご飯を炊いて、鶏もも肉を焼き、ケールを炒めた。
夫も一緒に料理してくれた。
夜またガーゼを変える。
人間の体ってほんとうにすごいなと思う。
