Woke up 7 am, I guess. It's sunny.
I felt better than last night.
Cleaned up, and did some laundry.
While listening to Michael Moore's podcast,
and it was shocking to know that the gender equality is not in
the American constitution....
Well, because, it's old? Yes, but despite numerous attempts,
they couldn't make any adjustments to it over 200 years. That is heartbreaking.
And, the constitution of Italy, German, and Japan has it although/because it was written by Americans??
It doesn't make sense.
I was researching on this Jewish woman Beate Sirota Gordon who wrote several drafts of Japanese constitution.
Especially about women rights.
It was amazing how this 22 year old with no experience in the area but very fluent in Japanese language,
fought against older men in the meetings.
Dan called at lunch break.
I went to post some zines and letters, and checked the road.
I might be able to run tomorrow.
Dinner is tofu steak, kale, miso soup, and rice. The usual.

少し晴れている。
昨日の飲み込めないような感じはましになっている。
掃除して少し洗濯。
マイケル・ムーアのポッドキャストを聴きながら。
？！と思ったのは、合衆国憲法には男女平等が明記されていないこと。
まぁ、古いからそれは仕方ない、のだけれど、
（改憲ではなく）一文を加えるのさえ、２００年以上いろんな人がトライしては失敗し続けているらしい。
今も続いている。でも２００年も何を話し合っているの？
アメリカが書いた、日本、イタリア、ドイツの憲法には明記してある。
何やってんだか、外に出てちょっかいかける前にやることあるでしょ、という気持ちになる。
そういえば、と思って、ベアテ・シロタ・ゴードンさんのことを調べた。
日本の憲法の草案をつくったチームに唯一いたユダヤ系の女性。
女性の権利について書いたと聞いたことはあったけど、ちゃんと知らなかった。
当時２２歳、オーストリア生まれ日本育ちだったことも、NYで働いていたことも、初耳。
おっさんばかりの会議で、ひとりで頑張ってくれてありがとう。
昼休みの夫と電話。
お手紙とzineを投函して、周りをくるっと散歩。
明日は走れるかもしれない。
