Tuesday.
I woke up when Dan woke up.
After he left for work, I got ready and walk to the work.
The snow was almost all gone.
It was just busy enough.
We had a cancellation right before noon, and so we walked to the coffee shop.
They didn’t have jalapeño pastry today.
We met Jim Willson, a famous local guy with no-sleeves, and he said,
“I don’t have my glasses today, so I can’t tell who you are.”
It was a good excuse.
Only works if you are charming.
It went well in the afternoon.
I got evaluation and all the comments were good.
And I got a raise.
This never happened to me as I always work with small gallery.
By 3, we finished and read some book.
This chapter was supposed to be autobiography by grouchy English old man, and it is hard to follow.
If I haven’t watched the movie, I might not be able to read it through.
I left work at 4, and walked to home.
It was getting dark, but it was warm.
When I was cleaning the kitchen, Dan came home.
We chatted for long time.
He made fire.
And he made carbonara with blue cheese and it was great.
We watched comedy and did stretching, then went to bed.
火曜日。
夫に合わせて起きる。
見送ってから自分の用意をして出発。
雪はほとんど溶けていた。
ちょうどよく予定の詰まった日。
お昼前にキャンセルがあったので歩いてコーヒーを買いに行く。
先週買ったハラペーニョのペイストリーは今日はなくて残念。
真冬でもノースリーブの名物おじさんに会ったので挨拶したら、
「今メガネかけてなくて、誰だかわからなくてごめん」と言われた。
いや、いつもメガネかけてないやんと思いつつ、なかなかいい言い訳だと思った。
愛嬌がないと使えないけど。
午後もスムーズに進んだ。
年度終わりのレビューがあって、良いコメントばかりでホッとした。
時給も少し上がることに。
はー、こういうものなのか。変なの。
週2日だけど、企業というものに属すのは初めてでこういうシステムとか興味深い。
3時くらいに片付いたので少し読書。
この章はイギリス人の口うるさいおじさんの1人語りで読みにくい。
映画を見ていなかったらここは読めなかったかも。
4時に上がって、歩いて帰宅。
薄暗いものの、寒くないのでマシだった。
片付けていると夫が帰宅。
今日あった色々を話す。
夫が薪ストーブに火を入れてくれた。
ハムをつかってカルボナーラを作ってくれた。
パルメザンチーズがなくて、代わりにブルーチーズを最後に足したのだけど、これがとてもおいしかった。
コメディを見て、ストレッチしてから眠る。
