Sunday.
We woke up slow and had coffee.
I had cobbler. It’s still good.
We both took shower and went to the border town Oroville.
A guy at Ace in our town told me they sell Christmas tree there.
The first supermarket we went told me that they don’t have them yet.
So we went to the country store to buy Dan’s work pants.
Then at the register I asked when they will have tree, and she told us that they already have.
We bought the big one and put in the car with the trunk little open, and left for home.
Back home, and Dan cut little bit of the trunk of the tree, and set up onto the holder.
He also put water, and I cut the string.
While waiting for it to open, Dan made lunch.
Ham omlet.
Then we put the light first, and then all ornament.
I love unpacking them.
I love all of them.
We worked together and it was so much fun.
Dan made hamburg steak with rice.
He also made fire.
The wood burning stove and tree, it got so much holiday spirit.

ゆっくり起きて、コーヒー。
コブラーを少し食べる。冷えてもおいしくて最高。
交代でシャワーを浴びてから、クリスマスツリーを買いにいく。
ここの町では見かけなくて、ひとつ北の、国境の町オロヴィルにあると聞いたので行ってみる。
ひとつめに行ったスーパーでは、まだ入荷してないのと言われる。
気を取り直して、もうひとつの目的だった夫のズボンを見にカントリーストアへ。
やっぱり紳士服のサイズが東海岸とはぜんぜん違うように思えるんだけど、気のせいかな。
どれもだぼっとしている印象。でも1本買ってみることに。
ズボンと、クリスマスライトを持ってレジに行く。
クリスマスツリーはいつ入荷しますか、と聞くと、ありますよ、と。
そのまま見に行くと6本だけ外に並んでいた。
大きいサイズを購入して、トランクに無理やり詰め込んで帰る。
帰宅後、幹を少しカット。
水切りみたいにして、これで水をよく吸い上げるようにする。
プラスチックの専用の台に固定し、水を入れてから、
縛ってあった紐を切って、広がってくるのを待つ。
その間に夫がハム入りのオムレツをつくってくれた。
ビーツとケチャップを添えていただく。
軽くておいしいお昼。
それから飾り付け。
まずライトを巻きつけていく。
オーナメントを出していく作業がすき。
久しぶりにあえたね、と思う。
ふたりでやるとあっという間にできた。
部屋の中がとてもいい匂い。
夜ご飯は夫がつくってくれたハンバーグ丼。
ごはんの後、シナモンミルクティーをいれて、のんびりした。
薪ストーブを焚いて、ツリーのライトをつけると一気にクリスマスになる。
