yuko's diary 12/3/25

Wednesday.

I worked at the usual hospital.

After morning was done, we walked to the pizza place and met with our ex colleague for lunch.

It’s been only two months, but felt longer.

There were so many things to talk about.

After lunch, we all went back to the hospital.

We chatted in the office for while.

Everyone had to tell her so many things, and it was so funny.

Everyone was happy to see her.

Then it got so busy with two ER add-ons.

We also had to help this trauma patient.

It was hard to see so much pain.

We also messed up patient urinary catheter, and made mess.

It was passed 5 when I was done, and my colleague offered me a ride.

He drove under the tarps that Dan put up and it was funny that how scared he got.

I took off all clothes and washed, and took shower.

But couldn’t wash my shoes.

Now I know why nurses wear danskos.

I boiled chickpea and ate with salad from lunch.

I did my workout and jumping ropes.

It was an eventful day, and I was tired, but a fun day.

I made fire and took it easy.

Dan came home and added more woods.

Tomorrow is the long day.

水曜日。

今日も仕事へ。

午前中の予定をこなして、元同僚と3人でお昼ごはんへ。

町のピザ屋さん。

2ヶ月ちょいぶり、頻繁に連絡もとっているのに、すごくひさしぶりな感じ。

話すことがたくさんある。

お昼の後、病院に一緒に戻って、放射線科のオフィスで続きのおしゃべり。

この2ヶ月分の噂話を全部吹き込まなきゃ！という感じで一気にしゃべっていておかしい。

みんなとても喜んでいた。

その後急にERが2件入って忙しくなる。

CTの交通事故の患者さんの移動を手伝ったり。

痛みが強くてつらい。

尿道カテーテルのバックから尿が漏れてしまったのも焦った。

終わったら5時を回っていて、同僚が家まで送ってくれた。

夫が車を停めるところにタープを張っていて、暗い中急に出てきたのでびっくりしていておかしかった。

服を全部脱いで、洗濯機に入れて、シャワーを浴びる。

今日は靴は洗えないな。

看護師さんがダンスコを履く理由がわかった。

お昼の残りのサラダに茹でたヒヨコ豆を足して晩ごはんに。

ワークアウトして、少し縄跳びもする。

盛りだくさんで疲れたけれど、充実していて楽しい日だった。

暖炉に火を入れてのんびりする。

夫が帰宅して、薪を追加してくれた。

明日は早起きだ。
